4:00 Bath: THE THAMES BOATMAN
I might be sailing close to the wind a bit with this one, but I’m still happy to take this Richard Hughes runner on at the prices.
He down in grade significantly and dropped to a mark of 74 on the turf.
However, by niggles are he’s still 0-15 on the green stuff, with all 7 career wins coming on the AW.
The Richard Hughes yard are also just 1-21 with their runners at the moment.
I’ll take the Thames Boatman to sink here, mainly based on him looking a better horse on the sand surfaces.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
