  • 2:55 Aintree: SOBER GLORY
  • 3:03 Sedgefield: REBEL TRIBESMAN (NAP)
  • 3:18 Thirsk: BEARISH

Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇

3:03 Sedgefield: REBEL TRIBESMAN (NAP)

Fair flat performer Chemistry is feared if taking to hurdles.

But the Jamie Snowden runner, who was a fair second here last time out, gets the call.

Yes, he was a beaten jolly the last day too, but still ran on well to the line and with that experience should be better today.

Joe Anderson rides today too and takes off 3lbs, with Jamie telling us on the FTS site this morning that he’s expecting his 5yold to ‘go one better’.

“Rebel Tribesman, by Crystal Ocean, won a bumper at Aintree first time under Rules, then was a good 2nd on his hurdling debut here. We expect him to step forward from that effort and go one better.” Jamie Snowden.

Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips🏇

2:55 Aintree: SOBER GLORY

Ran a blinder in the Supreme – just getting run out of things in the closing stages in a rough race up the hill.

But on this flatter track he could be hard to peg back and still heads here having won 3 of his 5 starts over hurdles.

The Hobbs yard also won this race three times in-a-row back from 2000 and on the official ratings has 7lbs in-hand with Baron Noir.

Sober Glory can land the drinks money.

3:18 Thirsk: BEARISH

This Ed Dunlop runner caught the eye on debut at Newmarket at the end of October (4th or 15) and the 3rd has since run well in a Listed race.

Rossa Ryan rides and with the expected improvement upped to a mile, Bearish should be ‘roaring’ home here.

3:30 Aintree: HEART WOOD (NB)

Grey Dawning is noted, but the fact he’s 0-4 here at Aintree is the worry with him.

Solness and Gidleigh Park are fresh, having missed Cheltenham and can go well.

But it was hard to not be impressed with the way Heart Wood won the Ryanair Chase last time.

He heads here on a three-timer, having won at Tramore the time before and acted well here at Aintree in 2024, when 3rd in the Mildmay Novices’ Chase.

Heart Wood looks the ‘solid’ call to me.

Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips🏇

4:05 Aintree: LISNAMULT LAD

Ran a close second in the Topham last season, so we know the track and fences will be fine.

Is up just 3lbs from last year too and don’t forget the horse also got hampered a few times by loose horses in the final stages 12 months ago.

He looks over-priced at 18/1 in a race we know he’s gone well in before.

6:10 Thirsk: GREAT

The Sam England yard have a 31% SR with their 4+ yolds here at Thirsk, so their runner might be worth chancing.

Yes, down the field last time at Southwell, but that came after almost 6 months off and the return to the turf will suit.

Backed up with his only win coming on the grass.

Still lightly-raced though (8 runs) and down a pound here, plus connections have booked the 3lb claimer Cian Horgan today.

He took a bit of a tug over 7f the last day too, so the drop back to 6f looks a good move.

Great could be just that at around 12/1

7:30 Wolverhampton: PRESENT TIMES

Today’s final each-way horse racing tip comes at Wolves tonight.

The Culhane/Barclay runner are going well at the moment, which is the first plus.

He’s another that blew away the  cobwebs last month after 4 months off, so will be better for it.

Is down 3lbs too and back on the AW – where his only career win has come.

          16:40 Aintree: Johnny’s Jury

“Johnny’s Jury put in a lovely performance on his debut when a close 3rd in a bumper for the Nicky Henderson stable. Off for a year and first time for our yard, he overcame the absence with an easy victory first tie over hurdles at Exeter and followed up smoothly at Carlisle. Up in trip, he defeated top-class opposition in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham, maintaining his unbeaten record over hurdles. He appears to be improving rapidly and I expect he should take all the beating here.” Jamie Snowden

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?

The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?

In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.

The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.

You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?

It’s similar to a NAP – but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.

In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.

How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?

A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing – and for good reason.

It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet.

The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:

            • 6 Doubles
            • 4 Trebles
            • 4 Singles
            • 1 Four-Fold

That’s where the 15 comes from.

A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total – 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.

If you fancy today’s selections, you can use our Lucky 15 horse racing tips above to build this type of wager.

How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?

Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.

So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.

If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.

How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?

To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.

Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.

Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.

Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.

            That’s it – you’re in.

Will There Be Any Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Tomorrow?

Yes, simply bookmark this page and we’ll update it with a fresh set of Lucky 15 horse racing tips tomorrow.
