- 2:20 Wincanton: GRAND VENDETTA (NAP)

Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇
2:20 Wincanton: GRAND VENDETTA (NAP)
This Paul Nicholls runner looks to have an obvious chance today – winning well last time at Taunton in early February.
Has had two months to freshen up from that effort, in what was only his second career run.
While the form looks solid with the runner-up Wandering Ego winning next time.
Nicholls also boasts a solid 26% return with his hurdlers here at Wincanton, while jockey Harry Cobden has a better 36% SR when riding over the smaller obstacles here.
Today’s Other Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
3:30 Southwell: QUEENS CHARM (NB)
See the below free FromTheStables quote today from Ben Pauling, who thinks his Queens Charm can go well today.
This winning Point-to-Point mare has her debut under rules today in a race the yard also took last season.
The form of her point win also looks fair, with the 4th and 5th coming out to win since.
Callum Pritchard also helps her out by taking off a handy 3lbs.
Queens is the call to charm her rivals here.
3:50 Wincanton: WALKINTHEPRESENT
Is on the drift a tad, which is a small concern – but this Neil Mulholland-trained 6yold impressed the last day to win well at Taunton.
Up 7lbs for that win, so more on his plate but the first two pulled clear of the rest that day to suggest it was a fair run.
Plus the second Lady Caro has since come out and bolted up at Taunton.
4:00 Southwell: ROAD TO WEMBLEY
Former useful performer on the flat for trainer Richard Hughes – rated in the late 70’s.
Has switched to the Olly Murphy team and wasn’t disgraced when second on hurdles debut at Warwick last month.
Would have learned a lot from that and this race looks slightly easier.
Sean Bowen continues in the saddle and in a race that lacks depth I’ll take Road To Wembley to hit the back of the net here (unlike England there last night!!)
Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips🏇
2:30 Southwell: ALWAYS BUSY
Looks a trappy little race with just five runners.
Hell Hound is probably the one to beat, but the better value can come from this Christian Williams runner – Always Busy.
Yes, pulled up the last day at Chepstow, but that came on softer ground and he’s certainly better on good conditions.
Down 2lbs too, plus connections have booked a 7lb claimer to ride – meaning he’s 9lbs better off than last time.
Is also a proven CD winner here at Southwell and the Williams camp boast a 38% SR over fences at this venue.
2:40 Sedgefield: FINE POINT
The Adam Nicol yard were amongst the winners yesterday and have a few good chances again today.
Including this 5yold, who is having his first run for the yard today – coming from the Nigel Hawke team.
Has acted well on good ground in the past and is back down to his last winning mark.
4:20 Wincanton: KINGCORMAC
Won last time out at Hereford and a 3lb rise for that win looks fair.
Is actually on a three-timer after winning at Exeter the time before too and despite his age (10) is lightly-raced.
The Joe Tickle yard are also 2-5 (40%) in recent days and despite more needed here Cormac can be king again.
8:00 Kempton: UNITER
Another open affair, with many chances – but Oisin Murphy booked to ride this Denis Coakley runner stands out.
This will be his first run for the yard after coming from Andrew Balding’s team – and returns 3lbs lower than last time.
Was also only beaten 3lbs the last day here at Kempton back in January and Murphy knows the horse well – having ridden him twice in his last three runs.
Draw 3 looks fine and the Coakley team are another that have their horses in fine fettle at the mo – heading here 3-5 (60%) in the last 14 days.
Worth Knowing Today 🤔
🏇Trainer Paul Nicholls has an overall SR at Sedgefield of 65% (5-8)
🏇4:00 Southwell: 3 of the last 4 favourites have won this race
🏇Patrick Neville is 3-7 (43%) with his runners at Sedgefield, and overall 24% (see all his runners today below)
Today’s Longest Travellers 🗺️
🏇3:10 Sedgefield: STRATAGEM (408 miles), Mikey Bowen
Andy Newton’s LAY OF THE DAY ⛔🏇❌
🏇4:50 Wincanton: VICTORY SHOUT
Won well the last day at Taunton on good ground and will be a popular pick to follow up.
But is up 7lbs for that win and is also up in trip today to 2m4f (from 2m).
Talks on the horse that was second that day too – Walk In The West – but meets that runner on 12lbs worse terms for just 2 lengths.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year (UK & Ireland) 🏇👀
🏇5:45 Dundalk: COLLECTIVE POWER – Won this race 12 months ago off a mark of 82 and is now rated 80.

3:30pm Southwell – Queens Charm
“Queens Charm won an Irish maiden mares’ point-to-point on debut early in November and we acquired her at the Goffs UK sale at Newbury racecourse later in the month. She shapes nicely and we hope she can make a winning start in this interesting bumper. “ BEN PAULING
What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?
The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?
In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.
The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.
You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?
It’s similar to a NAP – but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.
In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.
How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?
A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing – and for good reason.
It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet.
The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 4 Singles
- 1 Four-Fold
That’s where the 15 comes from.
A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total – 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.
If you fancy today’s selections, you can use our Lucky 15 horse racing tips above to build this type of wager.
How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?
Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.
So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.
If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.
How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?
To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.
Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.
Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.
Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.
That’s it – you’re in.
Will There Be Any Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Tomorrow?
