Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇
4:50 Chepstow: CRYSTELLO (NAP)
Gutsy winner at Musselburgh last time out and that form has sine been boosted with the runner-up Bollin Matilda winning a decent Class 2 Handicap recently.
The pair pulled well clear of the rest too and with that only his fourth career run should have more to come.
Connections have given him 39 days to get over that run and the Harry Derham yard continue to be in fine fettle (33%).
A big field, but I’ll take Crystello to sparkle again.
Other Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Today🏇
2:42 Clonmel: FANCY GIRL (NB)
One of just two rides on the day for Paul Townend and I’ll take him to get off to a winning start.
This Mullins mare was still in with a shout the last day at Thurles when falling at the 7th hurdle.
Likely to be none the worse for that that, seeing as she’s out again three weeks later and connections look to have found a good race for her to get her confidence back.
With the slightly longer trip also a plus, having won over hurdles over today’s 2m 4f distance.
Fancy Girl is the call to have too much ‘class’ here.
2:58 Warwick: GETAWAY SAM
Very bad race so that will give most a chance – but the one with probably the best form recently is this Matt Sheppard runner.
Ran a respectable 6th the last day at Hereford, plugging on and was only beaten 7 1/2 lengths.
Up in trip today and the cheekpieces are on, but ran well for the bulk of that race last time and even when he came under pressure about 4 out, did well to stay in the hunt.
Still lightly raced with 7 runs and based on that last run and the dire nature of this contest – it’s hard to ‘Getaway’ from ‘Sam’.
3:37 Southwell: CREST OF FIRE
Has been a tad expensive to follow with five runs and no win.
But this Jack Channon runner still has posted some solid efforts – especially when a close third at Donny last September in a better race (C3).
First run on the AW today but no reason why it won’t suit having run well on good and firm on the turf.
So with another winter on his back, this 3yold looks to have found a good race to finally break his duck.
Crest Of Fire should be too hot.
Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips🏇
3:28 Warwick: DRUMHELLER
Not been out for 101 days and is yet to win a race from 9 starts.
But a small chance is still taken on this Nick Gifford runner, based on being a pound lower than last time and if able to find the form of two runs back when a fair 2nd at Plumpton.
Is also over fences for the first time today and the yard stats over the bigger obstacles here at Warwick are very good – 4-from-8 (50%).
4:07 Southwell: KWIDSIN
Had just the three runs but is now able to run in a handicap, which will help.
Gets in here off a mark of 58 and is back up to 7f, which looks a good move with the best of his three starts coming over this trip.
Draw 7 looks fine and the Grant Tuer team boast an impressive 28% SR with their 3yolds at this venue.
6:00 Chelmsford: GOLD STAR HERO
The Michael Bell team are in good order at the moment – with a 3-5 (60%) SR heading into today.
So this 4yold is of interest having also been gelded since his last run and also a proven CD winner at this course.
Also likes to race up with the pace, so stall 1 looks perfect too.
Gold Star Hero could live up to his name here.
7:00 Chelmsford: KING’S CRUISER
Third (of 5) last time at Wolverhampton and is down 2lbs for that run.
Is also down a tad in trip (1m 5 1/2f), which looks a good move after getting tired over 2m 1/2 the last day.
Still only had 6 career runs, so more improvement to come and the Marco Botti yard are another team in fine order at the moment (3-6, 50%) with their recent runners.
In an open race and with his yard in form, it could be no shock to see King’s Cruiser crowned the winner.

This Mick Appleby runner will be popular after a string of seconds (5 of his last 6), but disappointed last time when only 6th at Southwell.
Yes, down a pound for that run and has a bit less actual racing weight this time, but will still head here 0-12 and is becoming a horse that has been frustrating.
Is also up in grade today to a Class 5 (from 6) and will take on the winner of this race last year – Diamond Dreamer (see below).
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?
The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?
In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.
The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.
You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?
It’s similar to a NAP – but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.
In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.
How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?
A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing – and for good reason.
It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet.
The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 4 Singles
- 1 Four-Fold
That’s where the 15 comes from.
A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total – 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.

How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?
Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.
So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.
If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.
How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?
To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.
Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.
Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.
Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.
That’s it – you’re in.
