Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Tip Today (Saturday 25th July, 2026)
3:10 Chester VELOCIRAPTOR (NAP)
The Hugo Palmer and Michael Owen combo love having winners here at Chester and I think they’ve got a top chance of grabbing another here.
This 2yold colt made a big impression in a hot maiden at HQ last time (3rd) – the race Haffner won.
He had the well-touted Subscription behind that day too and it goes without saying with that experience under his belt can improve further.
Storm Blade looks his main threat but has had two chances to get off the mark.
The final plus is the last two winners of this 7f maiden have hailed from gate 2, which is the berth the pick has.
Oh, and for those that don’t know (I had to Google it too) a Velociraptor is a dinosaur.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips (Saturday 25th July, 2026)
5:27 Lingfield SIXTY PLUS (NB)
As mentioned yesterday, the James Owen yard continue in fine fettle – and this horse was in fact one of their winners on Friday.
He’s back out again just 24 hours later in a bid for a quick double and having bolted up by 6 lengths at Thirsk yesterday is hard to oppose as long as this doesn’t come too soon.
5:40 Gowran Park SUMMER IS TOMORROW
This Joseph O’Brien runner has been a bit frustrating in recent runs but into calmer waters today.
Is rated 98 and so has 8lbs in-hand on the second-best in the betting Leopold The First – as they meet on level weights here.
Jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle also has a good record in this race – winning 2 of the last 4.
Summer Is Tomorrow should really be shinning today.
6:15 Salisbury SIERRA BELLE
The Ralph Beckett yard could have a good night at Salisbury and one of those with a big-looking chance is this Frankel filly.
She caught the eye on debut at HQ, when finishing well to take silver and can be expected to have learned bundles from that.
The Cox runner Price Of Toledo looks her main threat, but with the Beckett team boasting a solid 23% SR with their 2yolds at this track, Belle is the call to ring loudest here.
