Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Tip Today (Sunday 19th July, 2026)
2:40 Curragh IBELIEVEICANFLY (NAP)
Aidan O’Brien has won 3 of the last 5 runnings of this maiden and looks primed to add to that today.
This Frankel filly was a fair 2nd to her stablemate Alpha here last time and despite beaten 5 lengths that might still turn out to be a good run.
She pulled clear of the third that day too – Livenka – and that Ger Lyons runner has since franked the form by winning.
I’ll take this O’Brien filly to improve again and ‘fly’ home for the Ballydoyle boys.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips (Saturday 18th July, 2026)
1:45 Stratford EDELAK
Would probably have won the last day here at Stratford – when falling three out.
Actually seemed to jump the hurdle well, but just buckled on landing.
Prior to that had won easily twice and if none the worse for that tumble can make amends here.
Obsessedwithyou looks the main threat for the Snowden yard, but Harry Aikens can claim a handy 5lbs here and hopefully that’s the difference.
4:08 Redcar BE PATIENT
Returned off a break last time to win well at Donny and a 6lb rise for that looks fair.
Yes, there is the ‘bounce factor’ coming into play, but he’s only had three career runs and there should be more to come.
The Bethell yard also do well here at Redcar overall (24%) and so so having taken their time with this colt – their ‘Patience’ can be rewarded again here.
4:25 Curragh AL RIFFA (NB)
Won this race last year and I think can follow up for the in-form Joseph O’Brien camp.
Off 118 is the top rated in the field and powered away to win this race by 5 lengths 12 months ago.
Yes, with Illinois in the race this year, the oppo looks deeper, but this race would have been one of his main targets again this term and is taken to be hard to beat.
