Free Each Way Horse Racing Tips Today: Thursday 16th July, 2026
6:20 Epsom: PENFOLDS GRANGE
This 4yold caught the eye today after a fair 3rd at Kempton last time out and is back on the same mark.
Yes, there is no 5lb claimer riding today, but he’s replaced by Oisin Murphy here.
He’s also only run three times on the flat (no win yet) so there should be more to come on the grass.
While having run well on the AW off a mark of 76 in the past – then today’s 68 rating looks within range.
6:27 Worcester: KNIGHTSBRIDGE
The Jonjo O’Neill team are in fine form at the moment – coming here with a 40% (4-10) SR in the last 14 days.
This horse has been in good order for the yard too, winning his last two with a bit in-hand and is 2-3 over fences now.
Up 7lbs here requires more, but you feel there is more in the locker from this 6yold.
I’ll take Knightsbridge to be too classy again here.
7:10 Leopardstown: SNELLEN
A nice €41k prize up for grabs here and we’ve got last year’s winner back for more.
This Gavin Cromwell horse might have been a tad of a shock winner (16/1) and hasn’t won a race since.
But has run well in defeat many times – including running the classy Blue Bolt to 5 1/4 at Royal Ascot, with that horse since bolting up in the G1 Falmouth.
Gary Carroll, who was on last year, is back in the plate too and I’ll take history to repeat itself.
8:12 Worcester: THE GREAT ESCAPE
We’ve another Jonjo O’Neill runner here and as mentioned the camp are in fine fettle.
This 6yold is 0-8 over hurdles but is down 5lbs from last time, when well down the field here at the end of May.
But the step back up in trip looks a good move and this race certainly doesn’t look as strong as that last one.
The Great Escape should have a good chance of breaking clear here.
