Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Tip Today (Friday 10th July, 2026)

2:25 Newmarket LIBERTANGO

Was super impressive when winning the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot last time and is taken to follow up.

That win made it 2-2 and I was taken by the way she weaved through the field – showing a cracking turn-of-foot.

The second Sun Goddess has since franked the form to win a G2 in Ireland, while last year’s Albany winner Venetian Sun also took this path.

Her main danger looks to be Senorita Bonita, who was 2nd in the Queen Mary – but that came over 5f so the step up to 6f here is the unknown with her.

I’ll take Libertango to ‘dance’ home again under Billy ‘the kid’ Loughnane.

Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips (Friday 10th July, 2026)

3:00 Newmarket WINE DARK SEA

One of the most improved horses this season – winning well at Ascot in May and then bolted up at Carlisle last month.

The form of that Ascot win has been franked all over the shop and a 6lb rise for his latest 13-length success doesn’t look too harsh considering.

He also lumped 10-1 that day in a C4, but back up in class only has 8-12 this time.

Yes, the longer trip is the slight unknown – but it’s fair to say he was hardly stopping over 1m4f the last day.

Wine Dark Sea can continue to make a splash and land the drinks money yet again.

3:35 Newmarket PRECISE

Porta Fortuna landed the Coronation Stakes and the Falmouth in 2024 and Precise looks set to follow suit.

This classy O’Brien filly was a top winner of the Irish 1000 Guineas in May too and was gutsy again last time at Ascot.

Blue Bolt looks to be her main threat – with the pair rated the same (115). But Precise gets the handy 9lbs fillies allowance and that can ultimately prove to be the difference.

Precise is the solid call to take aim and land the three-timer.

6:41 Worcester OUR GUIDE

The Jamie Snowden yard won this race last season and look to have a horse with a similar profile to go in again.

Yes, he’s probably not the best jumper but has only had four starts over hurdles and so is still learning.

But what I’ve been impressed with is his attitude and the way he’s been finishing his races.

Add in that we know he’s fine here at Worcester, having won here the last day, then a 4lb rise might not be enough to stop him continuing his winning run.
