3:30 Carlisle: HARSWELL RUBY
Very open affair and this Roger Fell runner is sure to be one of the more popular ones in the market.
She was a fair 4th (of 16) last time at York and is down a pound for that effort too.
But, for me, is still 2lbs higher than her last win – which came at Thirsk back in April.
That success also came in a C5 race and is now in a C4 contest, while with only 2 career wins from 27, she’s clearly a hard horse to catch right.
I’ll take something other than Ruby to sparkle here.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
