The biggest flat meeting of the summer is almost upon us with five days of top class action, so check out these Royal Ascot bankers which combine for a 6/1 treble.
What Is A Royal Ascot Banker?
A Royal Ascot banker is a selection that many punters don’t think can lose.
They are usually a short price around the EVENS mark, give or take.
We’ve got a banker on three different days of the five-day meeting for you, so see the full write ups for them further down the page.
Also find the full Royal Ascot race schedule for all five days.
Royal Ascot Bankers 2026
We think there is three Royal Ascot bankers across the week.
One in the St James’s Palace Stakes, one in the Ascot Gold Cup and one in the Coronation Stakes.
Tuesday 16th June: St James’s Palace Stakes – BOW ECHO @ 5/6
It’s hard to see past this year’s 2000 Guineas hero BOW ECHO, who arrives at Royal Ascot having won all four career starts.
Plenty questioned his form from last season and he was overlooked in the 2000 Guineas betting at Newmarket.
He was sent off 9/2 but won as if he was a short-priced favourite, confirming the promise from last season.
The form of the race is strong too with runner-up Gstaad going on to win the Irish 2000 Guineas on his next start.
That was a fourth career success from as many runs for Bow Echo and he heads to the St James’s Palace looking to stake his claim as the best three-year-old miler.
If he wins at Ascot, with many expecting that to happen, he could head straight to the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.

Thursday 18th June: Ascot Gold Cup – SCANDINAVIA @ 5/4
Last year’s St Leger winner SCANDINAVA looks a Cup horse all over and he rates as one of the strong Royal Ascot bankers on Day three of the meeting.
He looks like a certain Aidan O’Brien Royal Ascot winner and 5/4 actually looks value.
The Ballydoyle maestro has a supreme record in the Gold Cup and Scandinavia would be his 10th, extending his record.
He won it four years on the bounce with Yeats in the early 2000s and legendary stayer Kyprios also won it twice.
The son of Justify has already won twice this season and he looks rock solid with that ideal prep.

Friday 19th June: Coronation Stakes – PRECISE @ 4/5
Winner in five of her seven career starts, PRECISE looks rock solid in the Coronation Stakes.
The daughter of Starspangledbanner blew up on her first start of the season when only managing 7th of 19 in the 1000 Guineas.
However, she reversed the form with True Love when bolting up in the Irish equivalent three weeks later.
Winner of the Fillies Mile at the backend of last season, she’s got some of the best form around and she looks solid up against her own sex once again here.
She’s a special horse and she can give trainer O’Brien a fourth win in this race.
The Coronation isn’t one that the Ballydoyle handler has been too dominant in, but this looks one of his best chances.
