ITV Racing: This Week’s Live Meetings (8th -15th June 2026)
ITV Racing Schedule Today
This week’s ITV Racing schedule sees a bit less going on before the hustle and bustle of Royal Ascot (16th-20th June).
With the ITV Racing this week coming only on Saturday 13th June – covering races at York, Sandown and Chester.
There are eight races in total to look forward too across the three venues, with the Listed Scurry Stakes (2:42pm) at Sandown one of the highlights.
While at York the Listed Ebor Grand Cup Stakes (3pm) is one of their main events being shown live on ITV Racing.
The action will be showcased on the main ITV1 channel during the afternoon between 1:15pm and 4:15pm.
Is The Opening Show On ITV Racing This Week and Saturday?
Yes, The Opening Show airs at 9:30am on Saturday 13th June.
And will come live, with Oli Bell presenting from York racecourse.

Francesca Cumani will front Saturday’s ITV Racing coverage (13th June, 2026), which runs from 1:15pm until 4:15pm on ITV.

The History Of ITV Racing
UK terrestrial racing coverage was previously shared between the BBC and Channel 4.
That changed in January 2016 when Channel 4 lost the broadcasting rights after more than three decades.
ITV Racing officially launched in January 2017 and remains the UK’s only free-to-air television broadcaster dedicated to horse racing coverage.
Channel 4’s final day covering the sport came on 27th December 2016, featuring the Christmas meeting from Kempton Park and the Welsh Grand National from Chepstow.
