Leading Queen Anne Owners Have Strong Chance Of Glory With Notable Speech

NOTABLE SPEECH is the hot favourite for the upcoming Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot after his impressive win in the Lockinge at Newbury recently.

He was well backed into favouritism in the Lockinge and dually obliged with a two length victory, with More Thunder in second.

And good news for Notable Speech backers is that his owner Godolphin have won the Queen Anne more times than any other owner.

The ‘Boys in Blue’ have won the Queen Anne eight times over the years with seven of them coming from Saeed bin Suroor runners in the late 90s to early 2000s.

Richard Fahey trained Ribchester to win the race in 2017 and that was the last Godolphin horse to be successful in the huge Group 1 at Ascot.

This could be another special day for Godolphin as Notable Speech could give Charlie Appleby his first win in the race as well.

Although connections also have Opera Ballo in and he’s the current second favourite. The son of Ghaiyyath has really improved over the last six months and could prove one of the main dangers to stablemate Opera Ballo.
