ITV Racing: This Week’s Live Meetings (1st-7th June 2026)

ITV Racing Schedule Today
This week’s ITV Racing schedule is all about the two-day Epsom Derby Festival – which gets going on Friday 5th June.
The ITV cameras will be on the Downs to showcase six races on each of the two days (Friday and Saturday) – including the Epsom Oaks and Epsom Derby.
On Friday, it’s Oaks Day, with six LIVE ITV Races on the network as top Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien will be looking to win the Epsom Oaks for a twelfth time.
With the Group 3 Diomed Stakes and Woodcote Stakes on Friday also featured.
Then on Saturday it’s Epsom Derby Day, with that man again Aidan O’Brien, who has won the last two runnings, chasing win number 12 in the world famous English Classic.
Derby Day will be supported with the Epsom Dash and Group One Coronation Cup – which will see a fascinating rematch between last season’s first and second – Jan Brueghel and Calandagan.
Is The Opening Show On ITV Racing This Week and Saturday?
Yes, The Opening Show airs at 9:30am on Saturday 6th June.
And will come live, with Oli Bell presenting from Epsom racecourse.
Who Is Presenting ITV Racing On Saturday 6th June 2026?
Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani will front the Saturday’s Derby Day Epsom coverage (6th June, 2026), which runs from 1:00pm until 5:00pm on ITV.
Covering six aces at Epsom.
With analysis from ex-jockeys Ruby Walsh, Jason Weaver and Adele Mulrennan.
Plus reports from Matt Chapman, Rishi Persad, Oli Bell and Mick FitzGerald, plus betting news by Brian Gleeson.

The History Of ITV Racing
UK terrestrial racing coverage was previously shared between the BBC and Channel 4.
That changed in January 2016 when Channel 4 lost the broadcasting rights after more than three decades.
ITV Racing officially launched in January 2017 and remains the UK’s only free-to-air television broadcaster dedicated to horse racing coverage.
Channel 4’s final day covering the sport came on 27th December 2016, featuring the Christmas meeting from Kempton Park and the Welsh Grand National from Chepstow.
