With Oisin Murphy booked to ride this will draw the eye for many – but this should hopefully also keep the price respectable.
However, the concern for me here is the form of the Michael Bell yard – they are just 1-from-21 in the last 14 days.
This 5yold is also still a maiden from 17 tries and failed to win off today’s 75 rating at Newmarket last month.
In short, he’s been a horse that seems to like finishing 2nd (7 times), rather than winning.
So I’ll take something else in the field to be ‘ A Major Payne’ to his chances again today.
