2:53 Fakenham SHE IS FOR ME BOYS (NAP)
The Jamie Snowden yard have been in top form this week – with 3 winners from their last 6 runners – and I think they can bag another here.
This useful mare was last seen running 3/4 of a length 3rd to Bluey at Market Rasen in a Grade 3 Mares’ Chase and that looks the best form on show here.
She’ll love the better ground today and there is no reason why the tight turns of Fakenham won’t suit.
Gavin Sheehan, who has won on the 7yold three times, does the steering again and the Jamie Snowden yard are confident of a big run (see below).
“She Is For Me Boys showed class on her chasing debut, winning nicely at Kempton last autumn. She made a noise at Cheltenham next time and subsequently had a wind- op. She was back on track with a good 3rd up in trip in a Grade 3 handicap last time. Now down in class, she is the best horse in the race and she should prevail.” Jamie Snowdon (FromTheStables)
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
2:40 Warwick GREAT DANCE
This Chester Williams mare brings the best form to the table after running a decent 4th in a Listed race at Haydock last time out.
That came over 2m5f and just seemed to not quite see it out, so the drop back in trip to 2m today looks a plus.
Is also down in grade here and so really I think this 5yold should be dancing home here under Lorcan Williams.
3:10 Kempton MARENGO STORM
Caught my eye when running a fair 5th on debut here at Kempton last month and that form looks solid.
Several other runners in that contest have come out and run well since – including the second Rogue Messiah and 3rd Wezzer both winning since.
With the expected improvement from that opening run, I’ll take Marengo to cause a storm here.
5:48 Fakenham HARLEY’S PRIDE
Travelled well the last day to scoot clear by 3 1/4 lengths at Donny and a 6lb rise for that looks fair.
Has since moved from the Pipe yard to Nick Scholfield, who has a decent 75% (3-4) record with his hurdlers here at Fakenham.
Has had 3 months off since to freshen up and probably has most to fear from the hat-trick seeking Dartmouth Rose.
But champion jockey Sean Bowen has been booked to ride too and so I’m happy to take ‘pride’ on Harley.
