Dan Skelton Trains A Winner at EVERY British Jumps Track This Season

Dan Skelton has trained a winner at EVERY British jumps track this season (2025-26) after Heltenham wins at Perth on Wednesday.

The Dan Skelton Yard Continue To Break Records This Season

Dan Skelton will be crowned champion NH trainer on Saturday at Sandown when the jumps season draws to a close.

After becoming the first yard in jump racing history to break through the £4 million total prize money figure.

With the stable having fired in 189 winners (as of Wednesday 22nd April) and will be hoping to hit the 200-mark come Saturday.

This haul of wins has come with just over 1,000 runners – meaning the Skelton stable have been operating around 19% for much of the 2025-26 season.

However, the record-breaking Skelton camp hit another landmark on Wednesday when Heltenham won the 3:40 Handicap Chase at PERTH.

Why?

Heltenham’s success meant Dan Skelton has remarkably trained a winner this season at EVERY British jump track.

There are 41 courses in Britain that can stage jump racing – some supporting both codes and some, like Aintree and Cheltenham that only race over the sticks.

Prior to the Wednesday card at Perth, the Scottish venue was the ONLY course that Dan Skelton hadn’t trained a NH winner this season (2025-26).

Skelton had to wait for Heltenham to tick off this feat after two earlier fancies Panic Attack, who recently fell in the Grand National, and Tormund Giantsbane both came up short.

Next up for the record-breaking yard will be a big day at Sandown at the weekend, as they look to add more prize money at the Jumps Finale card – with four races live on the ITV Racing schedule.

Skelton doesn’t have any bet365 Gold Cup runners, but does have other leading chances on the day with Doyen Quest (2:20), Thistle Ask (2:55), who is taking on Jonbon in the Celebration Chase, and Kabral Du Mathan (4:02).

More Records In Skelton’s Sights Next Season

With the curtain set to come down on another jumping season on Saturday, Skelton will be a short-priced favourite to win the trainers’ title again in 2026-27.

But the yard also have their sights set on another record – he wants to smash the 243 winners in a season record that Martin Pipe has.

“Next season I want to beat Martin Pipe’s jumps record of 243 winners in a season,” he says. “I think chasing that record is going to be one of the hardest things we’ve ever done – but this is how I’m going to try to do it.” Said Dan Skelton

Meaning we can expect to see many Skelton runners in action over the popular summer jumps meetings in the coming months.
