Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇
4:40 Fakenham: JAMADA (NAP)
Sense Of Reason and Jamada met at Lingfield back in January, with the Olly Murphy runner Jamada coming out on top that day (2nd and 4th).
Had around 2 1/2 lengths in-hand that day and should be upholding that form line – with the better ground fine.
With his sole career win coming of good/yeilding in a NH Flat race in Ireland a year ago.
The Murphy yard are also in fine fettle at the moment and also boast a solid 38% SR with their hurdlers here at Fakenham.
Sean Bowen riding is the icing on the cake.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips🏇
3:00 Hexham: GINTIME (NB)
The Nicky Richards yard can do little wrong at the moment, with 8 winners from their last 9 (89%).
They run three today (see below), with this 6yold looking like one of their main hopes on the day.
She was an excellent 5th (of 15) last time out at Kelso in a much better race than this and has also been dropped a pound for that.
There should also be more to come – having only raced four times over hurdles.
Gintime looks just the tonic here.
4:52 Leicester: ENGROSS
Won well at Chelmsford the last day and should be fine switched to the turf for the first time.
I also think the step up from 1m2f to 1m4f today will suit the James Fanshawe team often do well here at Leicester.
They boast a 38% SR with their 3yolds – to add further confidence.
6:30 Newcastle: NOELAN STAR
Another yard that have their horses in good order is Edward Bethell (see below).
They should be having another winner here too, with this Starspangledbanner gelding, who was a very easy winner on debut at this track.
Carries a penalty for that win, so has to give weight away here, but had 8 1/2 lengths in-hand the last day so will take a good one to stop him going in again.
Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips🏇
2:40 Fakenham: ILITCH
The Stuart Edmunds yard won this race last season and also have a 41% SR with their hurdlers at Fakenham.
Two big plusses ahead of the chance of this 8yold in this handicap hurdle.
Yes, needs to bounce back from a well-beaten Warwick run in March, but bled that day so did have and excuse.
That is a slight worry, but connections have given him a month to recover has winning form on good ground.
2:52 Leicester: SERVICEMAN
This Andrew Balding runner was last seen running down the field in the most recent Constitution Hill race at Kempton.
But that was his first start since Nov 24, and was his first since being gelded too.
Therefore, that run should have brought him on a bundle and it’s also interesting the first-time cheekpices are on today.
No shock to see Serviceman more battle-hardened this time.
6:00 Newcastle: STROMNESS
Just a small interest here – mainly as the Nigel Tinkler camp have won this race twice recently.
Yes, this 3yold is yet to score, but has only only had three career runs and actually hasn’t been far off the mark.
Is into a handicap for the first time today too, which should help and connections have freshened him up with 2 months off.

Ran 5th (of 7) last time at Uttoxeter on what was her stable debut for the Lucy Wadham yard (formerly with Sue Smith and Joel Parkinson).
Down just a pound for that run though and having failed to win off this mark in the past, then I feel she might still need to come down further.
Is still also hunting her first career win (0-16) and connections are upping her in trip today to 3m, which may help.
But will has a fair bit to prove for me on what will also be her first run here around the tight turns of Fakenham.

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?
The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?
In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.
The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.
You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?
It’s similar to a NAP – but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.
In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.
How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?
A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing – and for good reason.
It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet.
The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 4 Singles
- 1 Four-Fold
That’s where the 15 comes from.
A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total – 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.

How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?
Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.
So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.
If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.
How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?
To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.
Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.
Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.
Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.
That’s it – you’re in.
