Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇

3:13 Ffos Las: CINQUENTA (NAP)

This Jamie Snowden runner does has to give away some weight here, but he comes into the race with the best form.

He was a tidy winner over 2m 4 1/2f two runs ago at Market Rasen and certainly wasn’t disgraced at Sandown last time in a decent Grade 3 Handicap Hurdle.

This 6yold travelled well for much of that race on softer ground, but just faded in the final few furlongs.

Back in trip should be fine today and is also eased a tad in grade.

Cinquenta should really be hitting the bullseye here.

Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips🏇

2:38 Ffos Las: DOUJADOU

The Rebecca Curtis yard won this race 12 months ago with Newton Tornado and look to have a great chance of taking the pot again.

This 6yold has only had two hurdles runs but both have been fair efforts behind some promising horses.

Including running second to yesterday’s Turners Mersey Novices’ winner Bossman Jack.

He’s 6lbs to find with Knead A Win on the ratings, but is unexposed and with Sean Bowen riding is the call to give the yard their second win in this race.

3:45 Musselburgh: ADONIUS

Has to give weight away as a result of a win last time out here at Musselburgh on his debut.

But that success was an easy 7-length win.

Connections are clearly trying to strike whilst he’s in-form – running just 8 days ago.

So as long as this doesn’t come too soon Adonius seems a ‘good-looking’ option.

4:55 Leopardstown: PIERRE BONNARD (NB)

Is currently the 4/1 Epsom Derby favourite, so will need good performance to justify that market position.

The O’Brien yard have won the Ballysax four times since 2018, including last season with Delacroix – who went onto win the Coral-Eclipse.

This Camelot colt ended last season with a nice win in the Group One Criterium de Saint-Cloud in France on very soft ground (watch below).

But before that handled quicker conditions when taking the G3 Zetland at HQ.

Ryan Moore rides for the first time and has won this race three times since 2019 too.

Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips🏇

2:03 Ffos Las: POLKAFACE

Well down the field the last day at Chepstow so needs to improve on that, but is into a handicap today for the first time and that should help.

Gets in with a mark of 95, which looks fair and Sam Twiston-Davies catches the eye in the saddle.

The other plus is the SR of the Ben Case yard at Ffos Las – and they have their horses in good order, with 3 winners from their last seven.

4:20 Ffos Las: DUBLIN IN MILAN

Two ‘P’s’ from his last few outings doesn’t inspire – and heads here 0-9 under rules too.

But the drop back in trip today on better ground could see an improvement.

He’s also dropping down the handicap to 83 and Ned Fox takes off a handy 3lbs.

Which looks interesting, having run well at Stratford last March (2nd) off 91.

With the final plus the SR of the Clive Boultbee-Brooks yard at Ffos Las – 26%.

4:45 Musselburgh: BELLARCHI

Our old mate Bellarchi, who won for us at 14/1 last Saturday, is back and could be interesting again from another low draw.

He won from gate 2 last week and has been handed stall 1 today, while the way he finished over 7f suggests the step up to a mile will be fine (has won over this trip before).

This is an ease in grade, but as a result has a lot more weight to carry – but is only actually up 3lbs in the ratings from that last win.

As mentioned last week the Grant Tuer camp often do well at this Scottish track too – backed up with a 24% with their 4+yolds.

Of the rest, I might be playing a small cover on the James Owen runner Asteverdi, who is a course winner and is 2lbs below her last winning mark.

5:45 Musselburgh: SIXPACK

Another James Owen runner here that looks worthy of some e/w interest.

Last seen over the sticks at Fakenham but that was his debut NH run and is back on the level on his last winning mark (75).

Had been running over slightly longer on the level last season, but returns over 1m4f, which should be fine.

Cieren Fallon catches the eye in the plate and the Owen yard, who have a 33% SR here, have interesting also won the last two runnings of this contest.

Worth Knowing Today 🤔

🏇Trainer Harry Derham has a stonking 57% SR with his chasers at Wincanton (4:30, Queens Gamble)
🏇4:00 Wincanton: Trainer Paul Nicholls has won 3 of the last 6 runnings
🏇5:45 Musselburgh: The James Owen yard have won the last TWO renewals
🏇3:55 Leopardstown: Trainer Aidan O’Brien has won 7 of the last 10 (Ryan Moore 6 of the last 10) – Flushing Meadows
🏇4:55 Leopardstown: Trainer Aidan O’Brien has won 4 of the last 8 – Pierre Bonnard, Christmas Day, Italy, Endorsement
🏇5:25 Leopardstown: Trainer Aidan O’Brien has won 5 of the last 9 – Cape Cod, Extravagant
🏇4:25 Leopardstown: 7 of the last 10 winners from stalls 5 or less

Today’s Longest Travellers 🗺️

🏇4:15 Musselburgh: MAYADA (381 miles), Ollie Sangster

Andy Newton’s LAY OF THE DAY ⛔🏇❌

🏇6:15 Musselburgh: CARGIN BHUI

This Barron runner has been a busy boy on the AW over the winter – having run 7 times already this year.

But has a result of some fair runs has crept up the handicap and returns to the turf on a mark 13lbs higher than when last seen on the grass (Oct, 25).

Is also still to score on the ‘green stuff’ – coming into today 0-12, while all his 3 career wins on the same came over shorter.

Therefore, trip, mark and having not won on the grass are three big negatives in my book in what looks an open affair anyway.

Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).

          15:13 Ffos Las Cinquenta

“Cinquenta got off the mark at the 3rd time of asking in an EPF qualifier at Market Rasen. He travelled well for a long way in the final at Sandown but didn’t seem to stay the 2m4f on heavy ground. This drop in trip and obviously in class should give him every chance of defying the penalty.” JAMIE SNOWDEN

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?

The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?

In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.

The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.

You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?

It’s similar to a NAP – but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.

In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.

How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?

A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing – and for good reason.

It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet.

The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:

            • 6 Doubles
            • 4 Trebles
            • 4 Singles
            • 1 Four-Fold

That’s where the 15 comes from.

A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total – 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.

If you fancy today’s selections, you can use our Lucky 15 horse racing tips above to build this type of wager.

How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?

Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.

So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.

If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.

How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?

To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.

Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.

Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.

Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.

            That’s it – you’re in.

Will There Be Any Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Tomorrow?

Yes, simply bookmark this page and we’ll update it with a fresh set of Lucky 15 horse racing tips tomorrow.

You can also check the ITV Racing schedule to see when the free-to-air channel is next showing live racing.
