- 2:45 Huntingdon: DATSALIGHTCHARLIE (NB)
- 3:30 Hereford: SILVER HILL
- 3:45 Huntingdon: WANDERING EGO
- 5:30 Kempton: NEW MONARCH (NAP)

Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇
5:30 Kempton: NEW MONARCH (NAP)
El Nay made a promising debut, when second to a fair sort at Lingfield last time.
But New Monarch sets a fair standard here – having run well behind many useful 2yolds last season.
These included Dorset, Frescobaldi and Words Of Truth.
With a US bloodline on the dam’s side, the switch the to AW should suit and the Andrew Balding yard, who are in good order, won this race 12 months ago too.
Oisin Murphy gets the leg up, which is the final plus, so on all known form it will be a shock if New Monarch isn’t crowned king here.
Other Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Today🏇
2:45 Huntingdon: DATSALIGHTCHARLIE (NB)
The Jamie Snowden yard have a fair chance in Silver Hill (see below) at Hereford, but their main rider Gavin Sheehan is off to Huntingdon to ride today.
He’s got some fair chances, but this chase debutant looks his best chance.
Hurdles winner here at the track last March and the way he jumps his hurdles (big) suggests he’ll make a better chaser.
The step up in trip looks sure to suit having looked a tad one-paced over shorter and the Snowden camp have also given him a small break.
The yard seem confident too (see below), so I’ll take Charlie to be ‘alright’ in the second race at Hunts today.
“Datsalrightcharlie was big and backward last season, but managed a win on hurdling debut and he was a good 2nd on his comeback run this season under a penalty. He ran well when 3rd on handicap debut appreciating the step up in trip, and wasn’t beaten far last time out. Back from a midwinter break, up to 3m here and over fences for the first time. I expect we will soon be seeing him at his best.” Jamie Snowden

3:30 Hereford: SILVER HILL
Likeable sort and another from the Snowden yard, who could have a good day today.
Just failed to reel back in Sanilam at Newcastle last time at Newcastle over slightly further, so the drop back in trip (a furlong) is not 100% ideal.
Plus he’s also got to give the penalty away again (7lbs) to the others.
However, this doesn’t look a strong race and providing STD can keep him up with the pace, should be finishing off well again.
Silver can take gold.
“Silver Hill won a novice at Catterick, and was only just beaten under a penalty there on his next start. He hit the crossbar again last time, but this looks a good opportunity to get his head in front once more. ” Jamie Snowden
3:45 Huntingdon: WANDERING EGO
Today’s final Lucky 15 horse racing tip comes at back at Huntingdon, with this Olly Murphy runner.
Ridden by Sean Bowen, this 6yold was only 5 3/4 lengths behind last week’s Supreme winner Old Park Star at Kempton in November.
Has since been beaten twice, but these were still fair runs and in slightly better races than today.
Been a tad frustrating, but connections looks to have found a good chance for him to get his second success over the sticks.
Bonus Each-Way Betting Tips🏇
3:00 Hereford: LYDEARD GIRL
Yet to score, but has been running well enough to suggest a race like this is within range.
Plus has only been on the track six times in total.
Second the last day here at Hereford as another step forward and with the expected improvement can get involved again.
The Kayley Woollacott yard also boast a solid 38% SR with their hurdlers at Hereford.
4:15 Huntingdon: IKIGAI STAR
This Charlie Longsdon horse does seem to like it at Huntingdon.
He’s 2-2 here at the track, with his last win coming at this venue last May.
The horse, who has had a recent wind op, also acts well on today’s better ground (good) and is back rated 3lbs lower than that last success.
Lilly Pinchin was also on his back that day and returns to the saddle.
Ikigai Star can shine at his favourite venue again.
4:30 Hereford: VOL ROYALE
As mentioned the Woollacott team have a solid 38% return at Hereford with their hurdlers and they’ve got another here.
This 6yold won twice here at Hereford earlier this season, but didn’t seem to enjoy Chepstow last time.
That was also a higher graded race, so the ease back in class today will help.
Plus Harry Cobden, who rode him to his two wins this season, returns to the saddle.
So, back in grade and returning to a track we know he likes with Cobbers on – suggest he could easily bounce back here.
Worth Knowing Today 🤔
🏇6:30 Kempton: MOUNT ATHOS – Has won the last THREE runnings of this race for the James Tate yard and James Doyle has ridden each time too.
Today’s Longest Travellers 🗺️
🏇6:30 Kempton: APIARIST (236 miles), Kevin Ryan
Andy Newton’s LAY OF THE DAY ⛔🏇❌
🏇8:30 Kempton: SEVENTY
Heads here having won two runs ago at Lingers, but failed to add to that last time at the same track off a 4lbs higher mark.
Also had a 7lb claimer on the last day, but doesn’t today – which might be a plus, or not.
But he’s still got a bit to prove off this slightly higher mark for me.
The final negative is the step up in grade here today – up into a Class 5 (from 6), so happy to look elsewhere for the winner.
With King’s Hand, plus proven course winners Solanna and Tortured Soul noted.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?
The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?
In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.
The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.
You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?
It’s similar to a NAP — but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.
In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.
How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?
A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing — and for good reason.
It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet. The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 4 Singles
- 1 Four-Fold
That’s where the 15 comes from.
A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total — 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.
If you fancy today’s selections, you can use our Lucky 15 horse racing tips above to build this type of wager.
How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?
Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.
So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.
If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.
How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?
To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.
Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.
Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.
Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.
That’s it — you’re in.
Will There Be Any Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Tomorrow?
