Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇
5:00 Wolverhampton: LAHAN KINGMAN (NAP)
The Richard Hughes yard are in good form at the moment and they look to have a top chance of adding to those stats here.
This 3yold filly has only been on the track once, but that was a solid third at Newbury last August.
The form of that run looks decent too, with the winner Touleen winning since and also running 5th in the G2 Rockfel Stakes at HQ.
Several horses in behind the pick have also won since to further bolster the form and this filly also holds a 1,000 Guineas entry for later this season.
Billy Loughnane, who is riding fantastically at the moment, is the added plus in the plate.
I’ll take this Kingman filly to be queen here.
Other Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Today🏇
3:30 Exeter: BONZA BOY (NB)
The Jeremy Scott yard often do well with their runners at Exeter – boasting a 40% SR with their chasers at the track.
While jockey Lorcan Williams also does well at the track over fences, with a 34% record.
They team up here with Bonza Boy, a horse that also seems to like it here at Exeter.
This 9yold won here back in January and his last form figures at the Devon venue read 1-2-1-2.
He’s up 4lbs for his last win, but has since run well at Wincanton over further and so today’s slight drop in trip will help.
3:38 Down Royal: GERRI COLOMBE
A lot of focus will be on this race with Grand National winner Nick Rockett in action too.
With the Mullins horse and Gerri Colombe both using this contest as their preps for the Grand National – both have been allocated 11st 10lbs.
But whereas Rocket hasn’t been seen since winning at Aintree, Gerri Colombe will have the fitness edge after a good second in the Bobbyjo Chase just 24 days ago.
He was beaten only 5 1/2 lengths that day behind another Mullins horse Grangeclare West, but that was a clear sign of a return to form.
Elliott likes this race too – with five wins in the last nine.
4:40 Exeter: INK BLACK HEART
Some unknowns here, that include the unraced Paul Nicholls runner River Kwai.
But the Dan Skelton runner has caught the eye in running well twice in similar races – including when 4th to Bossman Jack at Wincanton on debut.
Has since run second at Wetherby and the winner that day A Likeable Rogue has boosted the form with a win in a Listed race since.
Harry Skelton rides and with the expected improvement Ink Black can break the others ‘hearts’ here.

2:20 Exeter: LOKI’S MISCHIEF
This Chester Williams runner caught the eye today, despite not winning at race yet.
He’s only had six runs over hurdles though and took a leap forward the last day with a second here at Exeter back in November.
Has had plenty of time to get over that race, with connection likely waiting for the slightly better ground.
Harry Cobden has also been booked to ride again (rode last time) and the Williams yard are also 2-3 (67%) with their hurdlers at Exeter.
4:05 Exeter: DYNO DAVE
The sole runner on the day for Nicky Henderson comes here, with James Bowen booked to ride.
This 8old heads here 0-6 and carries 12st, plus will need to do better than recent runs – when 5th at Ludlow (26 lengths behind).
But is down 3lbs more for that and could be seen in a better light on slightly quicker ground today.
This also represents an ease in grade, which will make life a tad easier.
5:30 Wolverhampton: ORBITAL CHIME
The James Owen yard are in fair form and fired in the NAP for us yesterday with Magnetude.
They also boast a 24% SR with their 4+yolds at the track and this 6yold is having his first run for the yard, after coming from the Katie Scott team.
2lbs lower than when last seen running last at Newcastle over 5f, but is up to 7f today and that will help with his career wins coming over 6f.
Cieren Fallon rides and off this dropping mark and in an average race, it would be no shock to see him run well on his first start for the Owen camp.

Has had a top time of it recently, with two wins from his last three.
Up another 4lbs here, but that is offset with the booking of Ryan Kavanagh to take off 5lbs.
However, this new mark still takes him to a mark of 63 and with all 10 career wins (from 86 runs) coming rated 59 or less.
So, yes he’s in the form of his life at the moment, but will still need a career-best here for me and in an open race I’ll take something else to defuse Bomb Squad.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?
The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?
In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.
The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.
You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?
It’s similar to a NAP — but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.
In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.
How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?
A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing — and for good reason.
It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet. The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 4 Singles
- 1 Four-Fold
That’s where the 15 comes from.
A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total — 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.

How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?
Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.
So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.
If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.
How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?
To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.
Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.
Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.
Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.
That’s it — you’re in.
