Horse Racing Lucky 15 Tips – Today’s ‘Muggy’ Favourites Acca 📝😉

  • 2:58 Huntingdon: BLUES SINGER
  • 3:20 Cheltenham: STUMPTOWN
  • 4:00 Cheltenham: MAJBOROUGH (NAP)
  • 6:15 Southwell: INTO THE LIGHT (NB)

Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇

4:00 Cheltenham: MAJBOROUGH (NAP)

The Champion Chase has been a bit of a graveyard race for the jollies in recent years – with 7 of the last 10 odds-on favs losing – including Jonbon again 12 months ago.

Dublin Chase winners are also 0-6 and 31 of the last 39 winners were aged between 7-9.

But despite having these stats to overcome Majborough still looks the one to beat.

He’s the top-rated in the field at 174 and seemed to have sorted his jumping out the last day at the DRF.

Jumping a lot straighter – and slamming last year’s winner of this race Marine Nationale by 19 lengths.

He misses the race and with some questions over his main rivals – Majborough is the call to become the first winning jolly since Energumene in 2023.

Horse Racing NB Tip 🏇

6:15 Southwell: INTO THE LIGHT (NB)

The Charlie Appleby yard have a good record here at Southwell with a 42% SR with their 3 yolds at this venue.

Won well at Lingers the last day over 1m2f and more improvement is likely over his longer trip.

Billy Loughnane rides.

Other Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips Today🏇

2:58 Huntingdon: BLUES SINGER

The Alan King team are in good order at the moment and this 6yold is interestig back in grade here.

He was last seen running 9th in the Dovecote at Kempton (G2) and before that was third to the promising Minella Yoga at Newbury – again in a better race.

Blues Singer can hit the high notes.

3:20 Cheltenham: STUMPTOWN

Won this race last season and has been primed for a repeat performance.

Has only run twice since and was last in action in the Czech Republic when winning the Pardubicka by 1 3/4 lengths.

Had five months to get over that race and has Mr Cross Country – Keith Donoghue in the saddle, who has won this race 5 times in the last seven years.

Favori De Champdou is of course noted, but the proven winner in this race Stumptown can cut his rivals down again.

Bonus Each-Way Betting Tips🏇

2:00 Cheltenham: WENDIGO

Was 5 th in the Albert Bartlett last season and might have been a tad close (without winning) had he not been hampered two out.

The 7th that day Ma Shantou has come out this season too and franked the form to win the Cleeve Hurdle and is a leading player in the Stayers Hurdle on Thursday.

Has done well this season since switching to fences with wins a Newbury and Ayr, plus would have found the Kempton track too tight over Xmas.

He’s got a bit to find on these terms with Romeo Coolio, Final Demand and Kaid d’Authie, but looks sure to stay and could well turn in to a National sort in the coming seasons.

2:40 Cheltenham: BALLYADAM

This old-boy is back at the Festival for a sixth time and despite never winning at the track – it’s clear he loves it.

Why? Well, the 11 year-old has hit the top five in ALL his six Cheltenham runs (5 at the Festival).

Including a 2 nd in this race in 2024 and a third last year. He’s rated 5lbs higher than 2024 and only a pound higher than 2025 – but connections have booked Patrick O’Brien to claim 5lbs this year.

A recent spin on the flat at Dundalk would have blown away the cobwebs and if y0u can shop around for top 5 or 6 place markets, then he’s surely a decent option to be in the mix again.

4:40 Cheltenham: JAZZY MATTY

This is another horse that does seem to save his best for Cheltenham – backing up the old ‘horses for courses’ tag.

He’s 7 year-old has won at 2 of the last 3 festivals – landing the Fred Winter in 2023 and this race in 2025.

Up 8lbs from last year, but did it well to suggest he can go close again. Has also only run twice this season – but both came over hurdles, so you feel connections could be protecting his mark over fences – with this race a big target.

He’s also had a wind op at the end of January, which could eke out a bit more improvement.

Vanderoel and Inthepocket can give him most to think about.

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?

The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?

In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.

The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.

You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?

It’s similar to a NAP — but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.

In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.

How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?

A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing — and for good reason.

It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet. The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:

      • 6 Doubles
      • 4 Trebles
      • 4 Singles
      • 1 Four-Fold

That’s where the 15 comes from.

A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total — 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.

If you fancy today’s selections, you can use our Lucky 15 horse racing tips above to build this type of wager.

How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?

Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.

So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.

If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.

How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?

To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.

Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.

Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.

Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.

      That’s it — you’re in.
