Back Our DAY ONE Cheltenham Festival Lucky 15 Tips in Huge 17,000/1 Acca

Check out our Day 1 Lucky 15 Cheltenham Festival tips for Tuesday. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 will cost £30, and this one currently returns £17,292.70 if they all win!

A Lucky 15 is a multi-bet made up of four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a fourfold accumulator – so 15 bets in total.

It is a popular wager as you get a return for your money even if only one selection wins, but you also have that extra reward if all of your picks win.

If you wanted to boost returns further, include one of these Cheltenham Festival bankers!

Cheltenham Festival Lucky 15 Tips: Four Day One Best Bets For 17,000/1 Acca

MYDADDYPADDY – 1:20 – SUPREME NOVICES’ HURDLE – 10/1

Mydaddypaddy was the ante-post favourite for a long time at the beginning of the season, largely due to positive comments from Dan Skelton rather than the body of work he had produced.

He won ordinary contests at Carlisle and Haydock before coming unstuck in the Grade 1 Formby, although the race was falsely run due to obstacles being omitted.

Paddy will be suited by a strong pace, and you could see him being smuggled into the race and finishing strongly late on.

Whilst this year’s Supreme looks particularly competitive, he appears a little forgotten in the market for this opening ITV Racing contest.

MANLAGA – 2:40 – JUVENILE HANDICAP HURDLE – 7/1

In a race dominated by the Irish in recent years, Manlaga can put an end to that run and give Nicky Henderson a first win in the contest and owner JP McManus back-to-back victories.

He was second on his British debut since joining Seven Barrows from France, finishing behind a talented horse in Manganese for Max Comley, who will re-oppose.

Manlaga then took a big step forward when cosily winning a strong-looking juvenile race at Haydock. Making up ground from the rear on a day when the track seemed to favour front-runners.

The second from that race looks useful, and if a few of the Irish raiders have been harshly treated by the handicapper, it may leave Manlaga with an excellent chance.

MYRETOWN – 3:20 – ULTIMA HANDICAP CHASE – 10/1

This is a real leap of faith, but Myretown is extremely talented and I cannot forget how impressive he was in this contest last year, albeit off 15lbs lower.

There are risks attached to backing him, most notably that his jumping errors are becoming more regular.

He fell at Newbury when favourite for the Coral Gold Cup (formerly the Hennessy), ploughed through a fence at Haydock on his next start.

Then made a shuddering error last time out when short odds again.

Connections said he failed to stay the marathon trip when last seen, so a return to the Ultima trip looks favourable.

The Cheltenham Festival trends suggest this race favours prominent racers and he will certainly attempt to make all.

If he gets a clear round, he is more than capable of going back-to-back in the race.

WADE OUT – NATIONAL HUNT CHASE – 10/1

The National Hunt Chase looks tailor-made for Wade Out, who is extremely talented but can often be let down by racing lazily.

He won a Listed novice chase at the course in November, staying on strongly after looking in trouble halfway round.

Wade Out travelled similarly at Windsor on his latest start, weakening after a bold mid-race move.

But he has bundles of stamina and, if first-time cheekpieces help him concentrate, he would hold a massive chance.

Oh, and he could also have a certain Sean Bowen in the saddle – a match made in heaven (or Prestbury).
