Irish jockey Ruby Walsh is on schedule to recover in time for the Cheltenham Festival after he was injured at the end of last year, according to a report on Sky Sports.
Walsh suffered a broken leg in November and there was no indication that he would recover in time for the Cheltenham Festival.
However, the jockey has been working hard to recover as quickly as possible and was happy to reveal that his rehabilitation process is currently going well and leading to a return.

Walsh said:
I’ve been riding a couple of horses each day, I started that on Sunday when I rode out one at home so it’s tipping along and hopefully it keeps going the way it’s going.
It feels good. I’ll just take it slowly slowly, try not to do any damage and we’ll see how we go.
There’s a buzz about the yard, things are just about to start cranking up. The horses are in good form and hopefully it keeps going that way.
The Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest horse racing events of the year and attracts thousands of spectators, so performing on such a big stage is always the desire of every jockey.
The four-day long event is packed with thrilling action and entertaining racing, which is exactly what Walsh is craving.
The event is set to begin on 13th March and Walsh is confident that he will be back in top form by then.
