Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Wednesday 17th June, 2026
3:40 Ascot: FRIENDLY SOUL
This is a race the Gosden yard love to target – winning 4 of the last six – and look to have a big chance of adding to that.
She returned last month at Haydock in the day they found that hole – so we can put a line through that pulled up effort.
But before that had won three on the spin back in 2024 – including a top Group One in France.
The yard showed last weekend that they can get one back from a long break (Gregory) and Oisin Murphy is the icing on the cake as he looks for his first Royal Ascot win this year.
5:00 Ascot: SHOUT / LINWOOD
It goes without saying many chances here, but the two I like are Shout and Linwood.
The last-named has a fair bit of weight (9st 10lbs) but I think he could be a Listed or Group horse in the making.
Draw 16 is fine and he was a nice winner at Newbury the last day – a 3lb rise might not be enough to stop him and Jamie Spencer loves winning on the straight mile here.
The other pick is Shout, who ticks a lot of the key trends in this race.
He’s drawn well in 26 too and the form of his recent 3rd at York has been franked with the 6th and 7th both winning since.
The added bonus is Jack Callan taking off a handy 3lbs.
8:15 Ffos Las: EVENING FADES
Today’s final each way horse racing tip comes at Ffos Las later – a William Haggas runner.
The yard boast an impressive 60% SR with their runners here, so it’s always worth noting that entries at the Welsh track.
Yes, she was a poor 6th (of 8) last time at Goodwood as a beaten favourite, but maybe just didn’t handle the track that day.
On debut had run well to be a close 4th at Lingfield and so looks worthy of another chance.
