Check out my Royal Ascot each-way tips on day two after a fascinating day of action on Tuesday. I’ve got two fancies at nice prices with five and six places on offer.
Royal Ascot Each-Way Tips On Day Two – 17th June 2026
With such big fields, there are plenty of places up for grabs in the Royal Hunt Cup and Kensington Palace Stakes.
I’ve got a fancy in both with a nice each-way price.
Royal Ascot handicaps are some of my favourite races in the entire flat calendar, so I’ll take my chance at big prices with six places on offer in each.

17:00 – Royal Hunt Cup (Class 2, 1m): EXCELLENT BELIEVE 28/1
It would be hard to find a trickier handicap to dissect than the Royal Hunt Cup but I’m taking a chance on EXCELLENT BELIEVE for Jack Channon.
Toby Moore takes off a valuable 7lbs off this horse who is down in grade after running well in a Listed event at Leopardstown when last seen.
He has been third on both starts so far this season, both at Listed level so this represents a drop in class.
It’s also worth nothing that Excellent Believe is one-from-one in handicaps winning his only other start in one at Haydock last season.
Has mainly been running at Listed or Group level since that handicap win and looks well treated on this mark.
Gets in here off 106 but with Moore’s 7lb claim, he’s running off 99. His two decent runs at a higher level this season suggest he should be on the premises and he might be ahead of the handicapper.
17:35 – Kensington Palace Stakes (Class 2, 1m): CHESHIRE DANCER @ 33/1
Third in this race last year, CHESHIRE DANCER arrives for another go with a bit to prove after two below-par efforts so far this season.
She’s ran with credit in both starts on the straight course at Ascot (won Group 3 on round) so she definitely likes the track.
Back into a handicap is probably the right move and she may just be ready to strike with Billy Loughnane aboard.
The 2000 Guineas-winning rider won on her when she landed the Group 3 Valiant Stakes here last July. Back on again this time looking to remain unbeaten on the five-year-old.
Back to a mile should be fine too after racing over slightly further on her previous two starts.
