Bow Echo Warm Favourite To Remain Unbeaten
The opening day of Royal Ascot is often highlighted by this race over a mile for three-year-olds.
Stars can often be born and this year’s renewal looks very strong.
There’s two Guineas winners at the front of the market.
BOW ECHO is the hot favourite after dominating the English 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and he’s been kept fresh for this.
George Boughey will be hopeful that Bow Echo can follow up his Guineas triumph as he sure does look like the best three-year-old the UK has to offer right now.
The Night Of Thunder colt made it four from four at Newmarket and looks to be living up to promise shown as a two-year-old.
His Newmarket win last time out was fairly easy and it looked like he had plenty left in the tank.
He’s the right favourite and has to be the one to beat judged on what we’ve seen so far.

Always Respect Aidan O’Brien St James’s Palace Runners
This probably comes as no surprise to anyone but Aidan O’Brien is indeed the most successful trainer in the history of this race.
He’s won the St James’s Palace Stakes on nine occasions and GSTAAD looks his best chance of number 10.
The son of Starspangledbanner came second in the English 2000 Guineas behind Bow Echo on his seasonal reappearance, but followed up with an impressive win in the Irish equivalent.
That was his fourth win from eight career starts and he could give O’Brien his first winner in the race since Paddington in 2023.
