Opera Ballo DISMANTLES Rivals In bet365 Mile At Sandown

Godolphin horse Opera Ballo made a winning return to the UK when landing the bet365 Mile on Friday afternoon at Sandown.

He was giving weight to rivals and made a bold bid from the front in a change of tactics.

It wasn’t his first run of the year though as he’d won a race in Meydan over the winter, but this performance was his best ever and he’ll surely be moving onto bigger and better things now as a four-year-old.

The Lockinge Stakes at Newbury looks to be his next option. His price was slashed in from 10/1 following his Sandown win.
