Benvenuto Cellini Heads Epsom Derby Betting Odds Market For Aidan O’Brien

The Frankel colt Benvenuto Cellini tops the Epsom Derby betting odds market 2026 – as he looks to give trainer Aidan O’Brien a fourth straight win in the race.

Which will again be shown live on the ITV Racing schedule on Saturday 6th June.

Another O’Brien horse Pierre Bonnard had propped up the Derby market all winter after winning the Group One Criterium de Saint-Cloud at the end of last season.

However, the son of Camelot flopped on his return run in the Ballysax Stakes at Leopardstown on 12th April – with the layers reacting by pushing his Derby price out from 4/1 to 10/1.

Christmas Day – yet another Aidan O’Brien runner – won the Ballysax Stakes and shortened from 33/1 to 10/1 in the Derby betting.

O’Brien’s Benvenuto Cellini also moved to the head of the 2026 Derby betting odds market without even running a race.

Benvenuto Cellini was a good winner of the KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes last season (watch below).

And was last seen running third to his stablemate Hawk Mountain in the Group One Futurity Trophy Stakes at Doncaster at the end of October.

Trainer Aidan O’Brien also has the second favourite in the Epsom Derby betting odds market with Hawk Mountain (8/1).
