Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips for Today: Thursday 10th April 2026 🗓️
Today’s Lucky 15 selections come from Taunton, Aintree and Wolverhampton.
You’ll find FOUR picks, including a NAP and NB, combined into a 8/1 ‘muggy favourites’ acca for THURSDAY😉.
Andy’s recent record speaks for itself: 464 winning best bets from his last 970 Lucky 15 selections.

Horse Racing Lucky 15 Tips – Today’s ‘Muggy’ Favourites Acca 📝😉
- 2:20 Ascot: LULAMBA
- 2:32 Taunton: MINELLA YOGA
- 4:50 Taunton: INFERNO SACREE (NAP)
- 8:00 Wolverhampton: ON THE INLET

Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇
4:50 Taunton: INFERNO SACREE (NAP)
Just the four runners here and cases for them all – including the Nicholls runner Just A Rose, but she is a bit of a recovery mission after being pulled up the last twice.
So the safer call looks to stick with the Nigel Hawke runner Inferno Sacree, who has improved since stepping up in trip of late – winning his last two.
Up another 5lbs for the last win and up in grade here – but also has 4lbs less racing weight as a result this time.
The form of his last win was also franked yesterday with the second Ferret Jeeter winning.
Murray Dodd is a fair conditional too and takes off his usual 7lbs.
So I’ll take Inferno Sacree to burn off his rivals again today at a track he also won at two starts ago.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips🏇
2:20 Ascot: LULAMBA
Now the market leaders don’t have the best of records in this race – just 1 winning fav in the last 16.
However, this year’s renewal doesn’t look that deep and it’s hard to find much to oppose Lulamba with.
He’s rated 12lbs clear of Koktail Divin, who will like the drop back in trip.
And even though he is prone to the odd jumping error, over this longer distance things should be happening a tiny bit slower.
2:32 Taunton: MINELLA YOGA
A race the Paul Nicholls yard have won three times since 2021 and form we’ve seen this season, it will be a shock if Minella Yoga isn’t adding to that good record.
Was last seen running third to the promising Maestro Conti at Cheltenham and that form has been boosted with that horse a close second in the Triumph.
Minella Yoga can limber up here and move onto bigger things next season.
8:00 Wolverhampton: ON THE INLET
Another shorty to have on your radar for any muggy accas is this Newland/Insole runner tonight at Wolves.
Won as he liked the last day here at Southwell by 4 1/2 lengths – on his first run since being gelded.
Up 6lbs looks fair and Hollie Doyle, who rode the last day, keeps the ride.
Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips🏇
2:55 Aintree: IMPAIRE ET PASSE
It goes without saying the Gold Cup runner-up Jango Baie will be the one to beat here.
And this has been a good race for the favs recently (7/10).
However, I just wonder if he’ll feel the impact of that tough race – not to mention the King George back at Christmas.
He’s still only 7 don’t forget.
So a chance is taken on Impaire Et Passe, who is upped in trip for the first time.
Yes, he was poor last time in the Ryanair, but he does seem to like it here at Aintree (2-2) – plus Mullins has won this pot twice since 2019.
4:40 Aintree: SANS BRUIT
Loves this race – winning the last two – and is a horse that comes alive at this time of the year.
Backed up with all five of his career wins coming in April.
Is just 3lbs higher than his win 12 months ago and the Nicholls form has picked up in recent weeks too.
This would obviously have been the target again and so another bold showing from the front looks on the cards.
5:20 Taunton: CAVE ARTICLE
The Christian Williams yard won this race last season and look to have a fair chance of following up again.
This 7yold hasn’t been out for 231 days but has gone okay fresh in the past and is also back down to his last winning mark (86).
Good ground is also a plus and Jack Tudor, who has won on him before, keeps the mount.
5:25 Southwell: LADY OF CLOVER
Lightly-raced filly that has only had four runs, but seems to be improving with each start.
Last seen running 3rd on her handicap debut at Wolves off this mark, but the longer Southwell straight is likely to suit her more.
The Scott yard also boast a fair 17% SR with their runners at this venue.
Worth Knowing Today 🤔
🏇2:20 Aintree: Only one winning favourite in the last 16 runnings
🏇2:32 Taunton: Paul Nicholls has won 3 of the last 5 runnings
🏇4:05 Aintree: Trainer Gordon Elliott has never won this race in his own name
🏇4:40 Aintree: Sans Bruit has won the last TWO runnings
🏇5:20 Taunton: ALL of the last 5 winners aged 7 or 8
Today’s Longest Travellers 🗺️
🏇6:30 Wolverhampton: HENERY HAWK (275 miles), Linda Perratt
Andy Newton’s LAY OF THE DAY ⛔🏇❌
🏇5:20 Taunton: MCGREGORS CHARGE
First run for the Kayley Woollacott yard and likely to be better now on good ground.
But his only career win came off a mark of 79, which is 9lbs lower than today.
Is also back from 188 days off so may well just need the run back – with a summer jumping campaign more likely targets.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?
The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?
In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.
The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.
You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?
It’s similar to a NAP – but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.
In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.
How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?
A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing – and for good reason.
It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet.
The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:
- 6 Doubles
- 4 Trebles
- 4 Singles
- 1 Four-Fold
That’s where the 15 comes from.
A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total – 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.
If you fancy today’s selections, you can use our Lucky 15 horse racing tips above to build this type of wager.
How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?
Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.
So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.
If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.
How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?
To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.
Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.
Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.
Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.
That’s it – you’re in.
