Horse Racing Lucky 15 Tips – Today’s ‘Muggy’ Favourites Acca 📝😉

  • 1:17 Nottingham: INFRAAD
  • 2:30 Fontwell: HARDY SURPRISING (NAP)
  • 3:40 Fontwell: DUNHALLOW TOMMY (NB)
  • 5:00 Kempton: ROMANTIC SYMPHONY

Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip 🥇

2:30 Fontwell: HARDY SURPRISING (NAP)

This horse was pulled out at the weekend late on but hopefully can make up for that here.

Yes, the quicker ground is the small worry, but Fontwell are saying it’s G/S at the moment.

But this Harry Fry runner brings solid form to the table – compared to the others – which has also been boosted with the 5th in his last race (Dig Deep) winning since.

The Fry camp also boast an impressive 32% SR with their hurdlers here at Fontwell, which is another plus.

Cluain Chormaic is noted, but it will be ‘Hardy Surprising’ if this JP runner isn’t taking this.

Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips🏇

1:17 Nottingham: INFRAAD

This William Haggas runner caught the eye on debut at Donny last October (2nd) and with another winter on his back looks the one to beat.

That came over 1m, but is up to 1m2f today, which should suit on breeding and also gets a handy 7lbs from the Gosden horse Director’s Cut.

3:40 Fontwell: DUNHALLOW TOMMY (NB)

Trappy little four runner affair with cases for them all.

But the pick is the Toby Lawes runner that is a proven course winner here at Fontwell and could get them all at it from the front.

He won well at Southwell two starts ago – which was his first run after a wind op – and then wasn’t disgraced in 3rd last time at Wincanton.

He’s down a pound for that last effort and the in-form Lawes team (2-2 in recent days) also do well here at this track, with a 31% SR over fences.

5:00 Kempton: ROMANTIC SYMPHONY

Godolphin’s main trainer Charlie Appleby has a stonking 41% SR with his 3yolds at Kempton and so his Romantic Symphony looks the one to beat here.

Yes, the yard also run the unraced Fashion’s Fancy, but the pick has had a run – which was a nice win last season at HQ.

Billy Loughnane, who is riding more and more for the ‘boys in blue’ gets the ride and her breeding suggests the step up to 1m3f will be within range.

Romantic Symphony can hit the right notes here.

Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips🏇

2:40 Gowran Park: CISTERNA

The Andrew Slattery yard can do little wrong at the moment – coming into the day with a 31% SR in the last 14 days.

They also run the likely jolly Aurora Mist – so a interest on both their runners is not the worst shout.

But Cisterna could be the better value with Andrew Slatterty picking to ride the other.

This 3yold was 5th (of 15) last time at Naas last month, but only 4 1/2 lengths off the winner.

Is down 2lbs for that and also has a 7lb claimer riding today.

3:32 Nottingham: ANY WHICH WAY

Might be more of a ‘win’ bet here if he continues to be backed – but this Michael Bell runner looks sure to go well.

Has shown fair form in three novice races last season but into a handicap today and that will make life easier.

Is also up in trip to 1m2f and breeding suggests (Almanzor) this will suit.

The Bell yard are in form at the moment too (see below) and Saffie Osborne gets the leg-up.

4:40 Nottingham: DEL CORSO

Similar to the last one – as this Ed Walker runner is being supported too.

But also looks interesting with the yard often doing well at Nottingham – with a 36% SR with their 3yolds.

This gelding is also into a handicap for the first time after three runs in Novices races, but has been gelded over the winter too.

A mark of 65 looks fair and the market is pointing towards a better run today.

George Downing rides.

8:30 Kempton: UZINCSO

Today’s final pick comes in the last race on the day at Kempton.

The John Butler team are another going great guns at the moment (see below) and so this 10 yold is of interest.

He’s back from a 127-day break, but returns on a pound lower mark and has run well fresh in the past. ]

Is also a course winner here at Kempton and jockey David Egan has won on him in the past too.

Worth Knowing Today 🤔

🏇Trainer Charlie Appleby has a 41% SR with his 3yolds at Kempton
🏇Trainer Charlie Appleby has a 45% SR with his 3yolds at Nottingham
🏇3:05 Fontwell: The last three winners were all aged 7
🏇2:13 Catterick: Trainer Tim Easterby has won the last 2 runnings – O Fortuna
🏇3:23 Catterick: The last 4 winners have come from stalls 2 (2) or 13 (2)  – Hostility and Farandaway

Today’s Longest Travellers 🗺️

🏇6:30 Kempton: TATTIE BOGLE (245 miles), Charlie Johnston
🏇7:00 Kempton: SPIRIT OF JURA (245 miles, Charlie Johnston
🏇7:30 Kempton: RETURN OF THE GODS (245 miles), Edward Bethell

Andy Newton’s LAY OF THE DAY ⛔🏇❌

🏇8:30 Kempton: TAKE THE BOAT

This Georgina Nicholls runner will be popular after a close second at Chelmsford last time.

But is up another pound for that run and is now rated 5lbs higher than her last win (4 runs ago).

That also came with a 7lb claimer riding, so today you feel she’ll need a career-best effort to take this.

Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).

What Does NAP Mean In Horse Racing?

The term NAP bet or NAP of the Day in horse racing is often used by tipsters – but what does it actually stand for?

In short, it is the BEST bet of the day and the one that is thought to have the best chance of winning by that tipster.

The term ‘NAP’ is short for the word Napoleon, which comes from a French card game of the same name.

You’ve probably heard of the phrase ‘having a NAP hand’ and this is where the term comes from. Having a good, or the best hand in this card game.

What Does NB Mean In Horse Racing?

It’s similar to a NAP – but in horse racing, NB stands for ‘Next Best’.

In simple terms, it’s the tipster’s second-strongest selection of the day. Not quite their headline pick, but the one just behind it in confidence.

How Does A Lucky 15 Horse Racing Bet Work?

A Lucky 15 is one of the most popular bets in horse racing – and for good reason.

It involves FOUR selections combined into a multiple bet.

The name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from the fact that your four picks create 15 separate bets, broken down like this:

          • 6 Doubles
          • 4 Trebles
          • 4 Singles
          • 1 Four-Fold

That’s where the 15 comes from.

A Lucky 15 is also similar to a Super Yankee, although that bet is bigger. A Super Yankee consists of 26 bets in total – 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and 1 five-fold.

If you fancy today’s selections, you can use our Lucky 15 horse racing tips above to build this type of wager.

How Much Does A Lucky 15 Bet Cost?

Because there are 15 separate bets involved, your total stake is multiplied by 15.

So, for example, a £1 Lucky 15 will cost £15 in total.

If you place it each-way (covering both win and place), the cost doubles. A £1 each-way Lucky 15 would therefore come to £30.

How To Place A Horse Racing Bet?

To place a bet, head to any of the horse racing betting sites, where you’ll see all the day’s fixtures and racecards.

Go to the ‘horse racing’ section and find the meeting and race time your horse is running in. Each runner will be listed with their current odds displayed alongside.

Once you’ve opened an account and deposited funds, you’re ready to go.

Click on the horse you want to back and it will be added to your bet slip. From there, enter your chosen stake and confirm the bet.

          That’s it – you’re in.
