Haydock & Musselburgh Live On ITV Racing This Easter Saturday
The Easter Saturday ITV Racing schedule sees the cameras head to Haydock and Musselburgh for NINE live races.
There will be five races from Musselburgh’s flat season opener and four from Haydock where they race over jumps.

Easter Saturday ITV Racing Trixie Tips – Selections From Haydock & Musselburgh
We’ve got three selections on Easter Saturday for the ITV Racing live from Haydock and Musselburgh. We’ll be combining the three of them for a Trixie bet.

1:55 Musselburgh – Silver Arrow Handicap (Class 2, 7f) – AL ARBEED @ 7/1
The first of our ITV Racing Trixie tips comes from Musselburgh and I’m taking a chance on AL ARBEED who ran just a week ago at Kempton.
Richard Hannon’s horses are in decent form and he had a couple of winners last weekend at Doncaster. Whilst Al Arbeed was beaten at Kempton seven days ago, I think he’ll bounce back here.
That was his first run after 123 days and he raced keenly in the early parts of the race. He eventually travelled well into the lead down the home straight but faded out of it to lose by just three-and-half lengths.
Sean Leavy gets in the saddle this time and he can improve on last week’s performance. It’s a quick turnaround but they’re not doing it for no reason.
2:46 Haydock – Pertemps Network Stayers Hurdle Series Final (Class 2, 3m 1/2f) – HEATHER HONEY @ 8/1
This is a trappy affair but I like the look of HEATHER HONEY, a proper stayer with a course and distance win last time out.
Joel Parkinson & Sue Smith have had a fantastic season and this mare can continue the yard’s solid form.
All but one of her rivals have proven that they stay the trip but only three have won over this distance at Haydock and Heather Honey is a much more solid option than those two.
Sue Smith also won this race in 2021 with Small Present so she knows how to get them ready for this particular contest. Heather Honey stays all day and we know she likes Haydock.
3:05 Musselburgh – Queen’s Cup Handicap (Class 3, 1m6f) – GAMBINO @ 9/2
GAMBINO makes his third start for Dan Skelton here after running once on the flat and once over hurdles so far for his new trainer.
He finished third on stable debut at Southwell to the mighty Constitution Hill who was rated 101 by the handicapper earlier this week. Gambino was keen throughout and finished well, looking like this extra couple of furlongs would suit.
Then he had a spin over hurdles for his new connections when losing out to the classy novice Kocktail Bleu where he was always staying on despite racing keenly again.
Wears a first-time tongue tie which might be able to settle him better and Rossa Ryan’s booking is eyecatching.

What Is A Trixie?
A Trixie bet is an accumulator bet in horse racing consisting of four seperate bets, merged into one with three selections.
It includes three doubles and one treble. There are no singles included in the bets.
If all three horses win, you will win all four of the bets. If one horse loses, then you will receive a payout from the two horses that won in that double.
A trixie is a fun way to back multiple selecitons at once with small stakes and without the need to bet three different singles.
