John Gosden’s Legends Of War cruised to an emphatic victory in Yarmouth on his debut at the venue.
The two-year-old horse began well but really turned on the style towards the end and secured a brilliant victory.
Jockey Oisin Murphy did really throughout the horse and they thoroughly deserved the victory.

Trainer Gosden was understandably pleased with the result but believes that there is still plenty more to come from the very promising horse. However, he does not want to rush into things and wants to keep himself grounded at the moment.
Following the win, Gosden said:
He can improve on this because that was his first race. Let’s see how he is at home during the next 10 days but he certainly is a horse that could be looking at a race in the Coventry Stakes.
He’s a lovely two-year-old, he’s very relaxed. He’s a very nice type of two-year-old he really is.
Jockey Murphy was also extremely pleased with the manner of victory and is hoping for plenty more to come in the near future.
