Australian mare Winx extended her winning streak to 23 with victory in the Chipping Norton Stakes at Randwick in Sydney, Sky Sports report.
The win was her 16th at Group One level and has led to major speculation that she will travel to Royal Ascot in June to compete.
Winx’s 16th victory also took her past Black Caviar’s record of 15 Australian Group One wins.

Having her first start since claiming a third Cox Plate last October, Chris Waller’s charge was settled towards the back of the field by Hugh Bowman through the early stages of the contest.
Winx then breezed past her rivals before pulling seven lengths clear of second place Victoria Derby winner Prized Icon, with Classic Uniform coming in third.
Waller said another attempt at the George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill on March 17 would be her next race, but would not be drawn on the subject of a possible trip to Royal Ascot in the summer.
