Following the success of Native River in the Betfair Denman Chase at Newbury on Saturday, Colin Tizzard unleashes further stars at Exeter on Sunday ahead of the Cheltenham Festival in a month’s time.
Tolworth Hurdle winner Finian’s Oscar is the star attraction in a Listed Novices Hurdle and he will bid to extend his unbeaten record over rules to three wins at odds of 1/9.

Alan and Ann Potts’ gelding cost £250,000 and has looked assured over hurdles so far this year. He heads the betting for the Grade One Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle at Prestbury Park over two miles and five furlongs next month and under Tom O’Brien, he looks likely to retain his unbeaten record in a race where he faces five rivals.
Perhaps Tizzard’s most interesting runner tomorrow however is the well-regarded Alary, a French import who was bitterly disappointing in the Grade Two Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock Park last month where, despite being sent off the 4/1 favourite, Tizzard’s was eventually pulled-up.

Second in a French Grade One in November, the seven-year-old son of Dream Well faces three rivals including Tea For Two, who was fourth in the King George last time who has won both of his starts at Exeter.
