Aimeric Wins Sedgefield Handicap Hurdle at 11/4

Aimeric won the Sedgefield handicap hurdle at 11/4 according to the official result from Monday, September 14. Ridden by Sean Quinlan and trained by Jennie Candlish, the gelding defeated favourite William Yeats — returned at 6/5 — by one length over 2m4f in the Paxtons No1 Caseih Dealer Handicap Hurdle Race.

The victory represented value in the Sedgefield handicap hurdle contest, with Aimeric showing the qualities expected of a progressive performer. Held up early in the race, the gelding travelled smoothly into contention before the final flight, where Quinlan drove him out to hold the market leader by a decisive margin.

Tralee Girl Confirms Preview Prediction

Tralee Girl won the mares’ maiden hurdle at 4/9F, validating our Sedgefield mares maiden preview. The favourite, who had been off the track for a period, proved that stable confidence was well-placed. Ridden by Harry Skelton for trainer Dan Skelton, she justified the odds despite her absence from competition.

Tracked tipster Newsboy landed a winner with Mr Mcwhinny at 10/11F in the 3:30 handicap steeplechase. Jeteye took the intermediate steeplechase at evens, whilst Littletown Lad (5/4F) won the closing novices’ limited handicap hurdle. Paddy De Pole opened the card with victory in the 2:00 at 15/8.
