Location Location claimed the Lingfield nursery result on Thursday, powering clear in the closing stages of the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Nursery Handicap Stakes. James Fanshawe’s runner, ridden by Edward Greatrex, took the 6f Class 5 contest at 11/2 to record an emphatic victory on the artificial surface.
Location Location‘s dominance was evident in the winning margin, as runner-up Horndean finished 1.25 lengths adrift despite starting as 3/1 favourite. Tracking the front group early, the winner edged in front two out before being driven clear approaching the final furlong to finish going away. Performance of this calibre in the Lingfield nursery result suggests Fanshawe has a horse of genuine prospect.
