My Girl Katie, sent off at 2/1F, chased the front pair through the middle of the race but weakened from two out.
Jager Time, at 7/2, pressed the leaders for much of the journey before fading in the closing stages to finish third, beaten 4 lengths. Fenelon’s patient approach through the opening stages proved decisive, gifting his mount a platform to strike when the early pace-setters had given their best.
