# Wolverhampton Results: Miracleoftheandes Lands Confined Handicap At 33/1 For Warren Greatrex

**Miracleoftheandes** has provided the biggest upset of the Wolverhampton results on Wednesday, landing the 3.00 “confined” Handicap Stakes at 33/1 under **Edward Greatrex** for his father, trainer Warren Greatrex. According to the official result at Wolverhampton, the winning margin over 6f on standard going was a length and a half.

Runner-up **Campenaerts**, sent off at 100/30 for Jonathan Portman and Olivia Tubb, could not peg back the winner, with **Royal Accord** a further two and a quarter lengths away in third at 13/2. The market got the race badly wrong: 5/2 favourite **Night Mission** came home last of the eight runners, beaten 18 lengths in total.

## Miracleoftheandes Overturns The Market In The Wolverhampton Confined Handicap

The rest of the Wolverhampton results ran truer to form. **My Maria** made every yard in the EBF Restricted Novice Stakes, the race covered in our morning [Wolverhampton preview](https://readhorseracing.com/2026/08/26/wolverhampton-tips-ebf-novice-stakes-preview/), holding **Lovely Dark Angel** by half a length at 6/4 for Gina Mangan and Archie Watson. George Boughey’s 5/4 favourite was second best.

David Probert enjoyed a productive afternoon. **Boilermaker**, the 1/1 favourite for Harry Charlton, dictated from the outset over 1m6f and stayed on to beat **The Craftymaster** by two and a quarter lengths, and Probert added the concluding 1m½f handicap on **Shamacid** at 5/1 for S Woods.

**Sixcor** opened the card at 4/1 for Linda Perratt and Tom Kiely-Marshall, while **Lawmans Blis** struck at 14/1 in the 1m4f Classified Stakes for Jessica Macey and Liam Wright. Newsboy’s selection **Fair Dinkum**, advised at 11/1 in the 3.30, was pushed forward from four out and faded to finish fourth. We did not advise a selection at the meeting.
