That also came over today’s 1m trip and with the expected improvement is sure to be a player. However, this is a fair step up to Listed level and the form of that win has been knocked since. With the runner-up Francillon being turned over at odds-on (4th) yesterday. *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** **➡️**1:50 Musselburgh: The last 2 winners from stall 4 – Gemini Man\ **➡️**Jockey Paul Mulrennan is just 2-34 riding 2yolds at Musselburgh\ **➡️**3:20 Musselburgh: The last 6 winners between stalls 2-7\ **➡️**Trainer Linda Perratt has a 50% SR (5-10) in the last 14 days\ **➡️**2:30 Brighton: 3 of the last 9 winners from stall 6 – Dreambird Dolly\ **➡️**Jockey David Probert is 5-11 (45%) riding 2yolds at Brighton\ **➡️**4:30 Brighton: 3 of the last 4 winners from stall 3 – Kodi K\ **➡️**5:00 Brighton: 4/4 winners from stalls 3-5\ **➡️**Trainer Tim Easterby is just 3-82 in the last 14 days\ **➡️**Trainer Roger Varian has a 34% in the last 14 days\ **➡️**Trainer Gordon Elliott is just 1-39 in the last 14 days\ **➡️**4:45 Wexford: Trainer Henry de Bromhead is 3/7 in this race – Tomthescaffolder\ **➡️**Trainer Charlie Appleby has a 42% SR in the last 14 days\ **➡️**5:27 Newmarket: Charlie Appleby has won 3 of the last 6\ **➡️**7:12 Newmarket: Spring Bloom won this race in 2024\ **➡️**7:47 Newmarket: Jockey David Egan has won the last 2 runnings – Albeseeingyer * * * ## **Today’s** Horse **Racing Longest Travellers** **Extended Order**\ Eve Johnson Houghton\ Musselburgh 14:50\ 373 miles **Faith In Florence**\ Ed Walker\ Musselburgh 14:20\ 371 miles **Willow Wood**\ Ed Walker\ Musselburgh 16:24\ 371 miles **Passing Thought**\ Ed Walker\ Musselburgh 15:20\ 371 miles **The Caltonian**\ Linda Perratt\ Newmarket 19:12\ 363 miles **Minster Man**\ Robert Cowell\ Musselburgh 14:20\ 351 miles **Ecclefechan**\ John Ryan\ Musselburgh 15:50\ 350 miles **Chloe’s Courage**\ John Ryan\ Musselburgh 16:54\ 350 miles **Tommy’s Promise**\ John Ryan\ Musselburgh 16:24\ 350 miles **Roc De Fer**\ Sir Mark Prescott Bt\ Musselburgh 16:24\ 350 miles **Barnaby Rudge**\ James Fanshawe\ Musselburgh 14:20\ 349 miles **Much**\ James Fanshawe\ Musselburgh 16:24\ 349 miles **Augustus Gloop**\ James Fanshawe\ Musselburgh 15:20\ 349 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **1:50 Musselburgh: FALCON MINE** - **3:30 Brighton: CELEBRATION  ETHEL** - **2:10 Thirsk: GOLDEN PROSPERITY** - **5:35 Gowran Park: MALLAVELLY** - **8:30 Gowran Park: MS MESSI** - **5:17 Wexford: CHOSEN SHANT** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: FRIDAY 7th August 2026** **💬** #### **5:00 Brighton: SUPERSTORM (6/1 [Midnite](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=))** *“Superstorm has been slipping down the handicap but he has shown ability.
