Palazzo Perico will, however, be popular after winning two of his last three – one for today’s rider William Pearman too. Is up another 2lbs today and fairly well treated still on old form. But is 0-2 here at Nottingham in the past and in a race like this – where the young riders have only had 3 or less wins, anything can happen. *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** #### **Galway** - 2:10 – 8/9 winners between stall 1-6 - 2:45 – 8/10 winners between stalls 1-5 - 3:20 – 5/9 winners trained by Willie Mullins - 3:55 – Trainer Ross O’Sullivan has won the last 2 - 3:55 – Trainer Willie Mullins has won 5 of the last 10 - 4:30 – Ndaawi won the race last season - 4:30 – 4/10 – Trained by Willie Mullins - 5:05 – 0/10 Favourites - 5:40 – 3/6 winners from stall 1 - 6:12 – 2/4 Willie Mullins and Patrick Mullins #### **Goodwood** - 1:50 – 8/8 winners stalls 9 or lower - 1:50 – 0/20 winners stall 1 - 2:25 – 13/13 winners stall 8 or lower - 2:25 – 16/19 winners between stalls 2-7 - 2:25 – 3/7 trained by Clive Cox - 3:00 – 10/23 winning favourites - 3:00 – 19/23 top 3 in the betting - 3:35 – See The Fire 2nd and 3rd in this race before - 3:35 – Aidan O’Brien 6 wins, John Gosden 5 wins - 4:10 – 9/11 winners stalls 9 or lower - 4:10 – 8/11 between stalls 5-9 - 4:45 – 0/6 winning favourites - 4:45 – 2/9 Richard Hannon/Sean Levey - 5:20 – 5/5 winning favourites - 5:20 – 3/4 winners stall 4 #### **Rest Of Today** - Trainer Ian Williams is 1-76 at Nottingham - 4:55 Nottingham – Nigel Tinker has won the last two – Auspicious - 6:40 Epsom – 5/8 stalls 2 or 4 - 7:50 Epsom – 6/8 stalls 1-3 * * * ## **Today’s** Horse **Racing Longest Travellers** **Naana’s Shadow**\ Katie Scott\ Goodwood 16:10\ 404 miles **Schrodinger’s Cat**\ Grant Tuer\ Goodwood 16:10\ 294 miles **Call Margot**\ Gemma Tutty\ Goodwood 16:10\ 289 miles **Sword Salute**\ Charlie Johnston\ Goodwood 16:45\ 286 miles **Donna Beauty**\ Charlie Johnston\ Goodwood 17:20\ 286 miles **Highland Girl**\ Charlie Johnston\ Goodwood 17:20\ 286 miles **Cash Cove**\ Charlie Johnston\ Goodwood 16:45\ 286 miles **Evanesco**\ Charlie Johnston\ Goodwood 13:50\ 286 miles **Miss Yechance**\ K R Burke\ Goodwood 16:10\ 286 miles **Vincenzo Peruggia**\ Charlie Johnston\ Goodwood 17:55\ 286 miles **Venetian Lace**\ Charlie Johnston\ Goodwood 15:00\ 286 miles **Strength Of Spirit**\ K R Burke\ Goodwood 13:50\ 286 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **4:30 Galway: NDAAWI** - **8:25 Epsom: TWIRLER** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: THURSDAY 30th July 2026** **💬** #### **4:10Goodwood: PILU (7/1 [Midnite](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=))** *“Pilu had the worst draw at Newmarket and was left to race virtually on his own. He has so much pace and I’m not worried about dropping him to 5f, although he might be a Sandown 5 rather than a Goodwood 5 horse. The draw in the middle can help him get a clear run. Hopeful.”* ROGER TEAL Plus, you can keep up with all the upcoming DAILY horse racing meetings at [RacingFixtures.co.uk](https://www.racingfixtures.co.uk/). *Note: Odds shown are subject to change* * * * ![FromTheStables Promo Code](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/04/FTS-NEW-POUNDTRIAL-PROMO--1024x687.png) FromTheStables Promo Code
