But this 6yold has been a hard horse to win with recently and heads here 19 races without a win – with his last coming almost 2 years ago. His three career wins have also all been at 6f and 7f, so today’s 1m2f trip has to be a concern too. While the Williams camp are just 1-75 with their runners here at Nottingham. *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** - **Trainer Ian Williams is just 1-75 with his runners at Nottingham** - **4:36 Ballinrobe – The last 9 winners returned 11/2 or shorter** - **4:36 Ballinrobe – Jockey Kieren Buckley won the race last season – Bells Grove** - **8:09 Ballinrobe – 4 of the last 5 favourites have won** - **8:09 – Ballinrobe – 4 of the last 5 favourites aged 5** - **Gary and Josh Moore are 5-15 (33%) in the last 14 days** * * * ## **Today’s Horse Racing Longest Travellers** **Concert Boy**\ Katie Scott\ Wolverhampton 18:30\ 252 miles **Auntie Jo**\ Katie Scott\ Wolverhampton 21:00\ 252 miles **The Floors Munky**\ Gary Rutherford\ Wolverhampton 19:30\ 231 miles **Never Dark**\ Iain Jardine\ Wolverhampton 21:00\ 211 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **6:21 Salisbury: AMATHUS** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: TUESDAY 21st July 2026** **💬** #### **8pm Wolverhampton: BASED (11/10 [Midnite](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=))** *“Based didn’t seem to enjoy Newcastle so he’s back around the bends of Wolverhampton where he has run two good races including the win two runs back.
