The last was an easy win at Yarmouth over 2 lengths, but as a result is up 12lbs for that. Also had a 5lb claimer on that day (Mason Patel), so is really 17lbs higher today. Is also up in grade into a C5, so will be facing slightly better horse. So, despite clearly in good form, I think at the prices she looks worth opposing today. I ‘prefer’ something else! *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** - Trainer Gavin Cromwell is just 2-38 with his chasers at Killarney - 5:25 Killarney – Willie Mullins has won 3 of the last 4 – Killeedy - 2:13 Wolverhampton – The last three winners from stalls 4 or 5 - 2:43 Wolverhampton – 6 of the last 7 winners between stalls 1-4 - 3:53 Wolverhampton – The last 3 winners between stalls 2-4 - Trainer John Gosden has a 44% SR in the last 14 days - 7:15 Hamilton – Jordon Electrics won the race in 2024 - 7:50 Hamilton -The last 6 winners between stalls 1-4 - 8:25 Hamilton – The last 6 winners between stalls 3-6 - 8:25 Hamilton – Jockey Paul Mulrennan has won the last 2 – Woohoo - 4:10 Newbury – 3 of the last 6 winners from stall 7 (inc last 2) – Nabati - 7:07 Pontefract – Vantheman won the race in 2024 - Trainer Charlie Appleby has a 39% SR with his 2yolds at Newmarket * * * ## **Today’s Horse Racing Longest Travellers** **Prizeland**\ Andrew Balding\ Hamilton 19:50\ 390 miles **Ferrous**\ Jack Channon\ Hamilton 19:15\ 372 miles **Law Of Average**\ Chelsea Banham\ Hamilton 20:25\ 369 miles **Nicely**\ Kevin Philippart De Foy\ Hamilton 18:05\ 361 miles **Rizal**\ George Scott\ Hamilton 17:30\ 360 miles **Tango Hotel**\ George Scott\ Hamilton 18:40\ 360 miles **Stella Lucente**\ Jack Morland\ Hamilton 21:00\ 360 miles **Plaid**\ James Fanshawe\ Hamilton 19:50\ 360 miles **Superior Choice**\ John & Thady Gosden\ Hamilton 19:50\ 360 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **8:52 Pontefract: RAVISHING BEAUTY** - **8:43 Newmarket: BORN A REBEL** - **8:08 Newmarket: SHALLOW** - **7:33 Newmarket: ROCKING ENDS (last 2 years)** - **4:17 Killarney: TIPPIN AND TAPPIN** - **3:07 Killarney: DREAL DEAL** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: FRIDAY 17th July 2026** **💬** **7:07 Pontefract: BAKER BLUE (11/1 [Midnite](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=))** *“Baker Blue showed us the best side of himself with a wide-margin win over the minimum at Wolverhampton three runs back.
