But after his last success at this venue has been a beaten favourite at Wolverhampton. Yes, the return to the turf is expected to suit, but is still 5lbs higher for his last win and only just got home by a neck that day. The useful Taryn Langley helps to take off 3lbs, but that still leaves him 2lbs to find and is yet to race off a mark this high. At the prices, I’ll take Filey Beach to get washed-up today. *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** - **Trainer Hughie Morrison has a 45% SR with his 3yolds at Kempton** - **Trainer Archie Watson is (9-23) 39% with his 2yolds at Chepstow** - **Trainer Tim Easterby is just 2-50 with his 2yolds at Catterick** - **8:00 Fairyhouse – 3 of the last 4 winners came from stall 5** - **6:03 Kempton – The last 9 winners came from stalls 2-5** - **6:03 Kempton – 8 of the last 9 winners from stalls 2 or 3** - **7:48 Kempton – 8 of the last 9 winners came from stalls 3-7** * * * ## **Today’s Horse Racing Longest Travellers** **Union Island**\ Charlie Johnston\ Kempton (AW) 20:55\ 246 miles **Baileys Khelstar**\ Charlie Johnston\ Kempton (AW) 19:13\ 246 miles **Tide Lines**\ Charlie Johnston\ Kempton (AW) 18:38\ 246 miles **Najmet Minzaal**\ Jack Channon\ Catterick 14:30\ 233 miles **Big Hitter**\ Jamie Osborne\ Catterick 15:00\ 233 miles **Fortunate**\ Eve Johnson Houghton\ Catterick 14:30\ 232 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** **2:00 Catterick: WITHOUT DELAY\** **6:50 Fairyhouse: GOODIE TWO SHOES\** **7:36 Chepstow: AJRAD** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: Wednesday 8th July 2026** **💬** #### **16:15 Yarmouth – Heer’s Sadie(5/1 [Midnite](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=))** *“Heer’s Sadie is in good form.
