But is up 5lbs for that win and has never raced off this high a mark. Meaning a career-best is needed. Yes, he’s down in grade from last time, but that means he’s got a big weight (10st) to carry, whereas he only had 8-9 the last day. *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** - **Trainer Charlie Johnston is just 2-47 with his runners at Nottingham** - **Trainer Michael Wigham is 4-8 with his recent runners** - **Trainer Joseph O’Brien has a 47% SR with his 2yolds at Bellewstown** - **5:10 Bellewstown – Joseph O’Brien has won 3 of the last 6** - **6:50 Newbury – The last 7 winners from stalls 2-5** * * * ## **Today’s Horse Racing Longest Travellers** **Max Of Stars**\ Ollie Pears\ Newton Abbot 16:30\ 328 miles **Boiling Point**\ K R Burke\ Sandown 15:35\ 250 miles **Lazy Griff**\ Charlie Johnston\ Sandown 16:10\ 250 miles **Royal Rhyme**\ K R Burke\ Sandown 15:35\ 250 miles **Collateral Damage**\ K R Burke\ Sandown 15:00\ 250 miles **Eternal Sunshine**\ Jim Goldie\ Doncaster 16:55\ 244 miles **Oriental Prince**\ Jim Goldie\ Doncaster 15:10\ 244 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **3:20 Newton Abbot: HURST HILL** - **4:30 Newton Abbot: MAX OF STARS** - **4:55 Doncaster: APLINE GIRL** - **8:40 Beverley: SUNNY ORANGE** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: Friday 3rd July 2026** **💬** #### **2:00 Doncaster: JUMEIRAH STORM – (2/1 [Midnite](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=))** *“Jumairah Storm ran very promisingly first time out at Salisbury finishing in a closing 4th and the 3rd horse home won at Newmarket last week.
