Yes, a recent second at Thirsk was a good effort – beaten only a short head. But he’s off the same mark here and Zak Wheatley can’t claim 3lbs this time. He’s won 5 times in his career (36 races), but all these wins have also been off slightly lower marks. He also takes on Invincible Crown again here, who was 4th in his last race – but looked a tad unlucky in running that day. I’ll take Irish Dancer to have two left feet today. *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** - **Trainer Adrian Nicholls is 3-6 (50%) in the last 14 days** - **6:00 Hamilton – Jim Goldie has won 2 of the last 3** - **Trainer Michael Wigham is 3-4 in the last 14 days** - **Trainer Richard Spencer is 6-18 (33%) in the last 14 days** - **10:45 Newmarket – 3 of the last 5 winners stall 1** - **2:02 Newmarket – 4 of the last 5 winners stalls 3 or 5** - **Trainer Lucy Wadham has a 63% SR with her runners at Newcastle** - **4:57 Newcastle – John Butler has won 2 of the last 4** * * * ## **Today’s Horse Racing Longest Travellers** **Ruby Wedding**\ Andrew Balding\ Hamilton 20:30\ 390 miles **One Million Dreams**\ Archie Watson\ Hamilton 18:00\ 370 miles **Pretty Little Baby**\ Charlie Clover\ Hamilton 18:30\ 360 miles **Kahin**\ William Haggas\ Hamilton 20:00\ 360 miles **Whitcombe Rockstar**\ Keiran Burke\ Newcastle (AW) 15:12\ 354 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **NO horses running today (Thursday 25th June) that won the same races last season** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: Wednesday 24th June 2026** **💬** #### **14:02 Newcastle – Based 9/4 ([Midnite](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=))** *“Based goes up there today with a very good chance.
