Plus only just got home the last day – when nicking the race by a head, so you feel another step forward is needed. While being 0-8 over 1m+, then I’m not sure the step up in trip is a plus. *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** - **3:05 Ascot: Trainer Ralph Beckett has won 2 of the last 5** - **3:40 Ascot: Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore have won the last 3** - **3:40 Ascot: John Gosden (4) & Aidan O’Brien (5) have won 9 of the last 10 between them** - **4:15 Ascot: Aidan O’Brien has won the Gold Cup 9 times** - **4:15 Ascot: Just 1 winner aged 8+ since 1901** - **1:40 Ripon: Trainer Tim Easterby has won 2 of the last 3** - **Trainer Richard Spencer has a 39% SR in the last 14 days** - **4:15 Ripon: Trainer Robert Cowell has won the last 2** - **Trainer Jim & Suzi Best have a 50% SR with their 4+yolds at Lingfield** * * * ## **Today’s Horse Racing Longest Travellers** **Liosa**\ Zoe Hawkins\ Ripon 16:38\ 285 miles **Moon Zabeel**\ Charlie Johnston\ Lingfield 18:35\ 271 miles **Time For The Moon**\ Charlie Johnston\ Ascot 14:30\ 243 miles **Revels**\ K R Burke\ Ascot 14:30\ 243 miles **Pikachu**\ Charlie Johnston\ Ascot 14:30\ 243 miles **Noelan Star**\ Edward Bethell\ Ascot 16:50\ 243 miles **Liosa**\ Zoe Hawkins\ Ripon 16:38\ 285 miles **Moon Zabeel**\ Charlie Johnston\ Lingfield 18:35\ 271 miles **Time For The Moon**\ Charlie Johnston\ Ascot 14:30\ 243 miles **Revels**\ K R Burke\ Ascot 14:30\ 243 miles **Pikachu**\ Charlie Johnston\ Ascot 14:30\ 243 miles **Noelan Star**\ Edward Bethell\ Ascot 16:50\ 243 miles **Galilean Quality**\ K R Burke\ Ascot 15:05\ 243 miles **Amora Queen**\ Charlie Johnston\ Ascot 15:05\ 243 miles **Vincenzo Peruggia**\ Charlie Johnston\ Ascot 16:50\ 243 miles **Sword Salute**\ Charlie Johnston\ Ascot 14:30 ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **4:15 Ascot: TRAWLERMAN** - **1:40 Ripon: YAKHABER** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: THURSDAY 18th June 2026** **💬** #### **18:10 Ascot The Wizard Of Eye [(12/1 with Midnite)](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=)** *“The Wizard Of Eye won over the CD last time out and is a very capable horse on his day.
