But also had a 7lb claimer on the last day and is up 5lbs in the ratings too. Meaning he’s now on a mark of 77 and with all 6 of his career wins coming off lower marks, he’d need a career-best this afternoon. While that last win also came with a bit more give underfoot (soft) than his likely to get today. So, I’m happy to take on this Tony Carroll runner at [Sandown](https://www.racingfixtures.co.uk/courses/sandown-park/). *Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).* * * * ## **Worth Knowing Today – Horse Racing Stats and Fun Facts** - **Jockey Harry Skelton is 52% in the last 14 days** - **Trainer Dan Skelton is 55% in the last 14 days** - **6:39 Goodwood – The Gary & Josh Moore yard have won 3 of the last 4 runnings** - **7:43 Gowran Park – Trustyourinstinct won the race in 2023 and 2024** - **2:37 Chester – Stall 1 or 4 has won 8 of the last 9 runnings** - **Trainer Tim Easterby is only 8-278 with his 4+ year-olds at York** - **2:25 York – Trainer Ollie Pears has won the last 3 runnings (last two ridden by Harry Russell)** - **3:35 York – The last 4 winners from stalls 4-6** - **Trainer Andrew Balding has a 36% with his 2yolds at Chester** - **1:08 Chester – The last 6 winners from stalls 1-4** * * * ## **Today’s Horse Racing Longest Travellers** **Havana Blue**\ Julie Camacho\ Goodwood 20:24\ 268 miles **King Roly**\ Mickey Bowen\ Market Rasen 19:26\ 265 miles **Slack Alice**\ Mickey Bowen\ Market Rasen 18:16\ 265 miles **Red Rifle**\ Grant Tuer\ Sandown 17:08\ 256 miles **Dream Diamond**\ James Owen\ Newton Abbot 19:00\ 250 miles **Dancing Dame**\ James Owen\ Newton Abbot 17:13\ 250 miles ## **Horses Running Today That WON The Same Race Last Year *(UK & Ireland)*** - **1:50 York – FEEL THE NEED** ![](https://media.readhorseracing.com/readhorseracing/2026/06/Midnite-Banner.jpg) * * * ## **FROMTHESTABLES – Get Top Daily Info Direct From The BEST Trainers** You can receive top Trainer Info Direct To Your Inboxes….EVERY MORNING (Daily FREE Quote Below) **Take a Look For Yourself –**[**JOIN FTS FOR JUST £1 HERE**](https://www.fromthestables.com/14daysfree/quotes/50/) **with PROMO CODE** ***‘POUNDTRIAL’*** ### **Today’s FREE QUOTE: FRIDAY 12th June 2026** **💬** **15:00 York – Bintaryana- [(5/2 with Midnite)](https://affiliate.midnite.com/C.ashx?btag=a_3358b_322c_&affid=924&siteid=3358&adid=322&c=)** *“We are hoping for sufficient rain for Bintaryana.
