The third English Classic of the season takes centre stage on Friday as Epsom hosts the Oaks, with some of the best three-year-old fillies in training set to line up.

It’s a race Aidan O’Brien has made his own over the years, collecting eleven victories  – adding that that tally last year again with Minnie Hauk.

And the Ballydoyle handler has the favourite again in Amelia Earthart, who many feel can fly home again for O’Brien after impressing in the Cheshire Oaks.

Her nearest rival in the betting is the Gosden-trained Legacy Link, who was a gutsy winner of the Musidora Stakes at York last time out.

O’Brien and Gosden have remarkable won 11 of the last 12 runnings of the Epsom Oaks – a staggering 92% return.
