## **Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Monday 1st June, 2026**

### 2:22 Listowel: PATTY O’FARRELL

Many chances here for this 2m Mares Handicap Hurdle, but I think it’s also interesting we’ve got last year’s winner back for more.

This Peter Maher runner is back rated only 4lbs higher than 12 months ago, but won by 3 lengths that day to suggest the higher rating today is within range.

Danny Gilligan is a plus in the plate and she should be spot-on for this after a run in the middle of April – with the better ground also a plus to her chances.

### **6:30 Wolverhampton: ROMANTIC SPIRIT**

Another horse running today that won the same race last year is this David Menuisier entry.

She took this Wolves pot by 1/2 a length 12 months ago and is back rated just 3lbs higher.

I think a recent run at Lingfield, after almost 4 months off, will bring her on and you feel this race would have been the target again this year.

Robert Havlin, who rode last year, is back in the saddle and so I’ll take Romantic Spirit to ghost her rivals again in this race.

### **8:30 Wolverhampton: SHE’S A GIFT**

Heads here 0-15 in her career so does have a fair bit to prove.

However, is still chanced with a small interest – coming over from the John McConnell yard, who often do well here at Wolves.

Backed up with a 36% SR at this venue, while this 4yold has also been dropped 2lbs from her last run.

At around 25/1 this one could be a gift.

### **8:45 Windsor: MAGICAL MERLIN**

The Harry Charlton yard are in great form at the moment, with a 50% SR in the last 14 days.

Therefore, anything they run today should be noted – including this 6yold.

He was last seen running 4th (of 6) at Bath at the end of April but is down another 2lbs here.

And having stayed on well the last day over 1m, then this step up to 1m 2f looks well worth a crack.

Magical Merlin is the call to be a Windsor Wizard tonight as the final each way horse racing tip.
