## **Andy Newton’s Lay Of The Day Horse Racing Tip: Sunday 10th May 2026**

### 4:02 Ludlow: PERGAMON

This Jennie Candlish runner was a nice winner at Huntingdon last time under today’s 5lb claiming rider William Shanahan.

But is up 7lbs for that win and the worry for me is that’s he’s tried once before off a mark off 107 and been beaten – he’s now rated 109.

We’ll also have a Skelton horse – Soleil d’Arizona – and also last year’s winner of the race – Zucayan – running for us.

*Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).*

- 3:05 Leopardstown: 4 of the last 8 winners drawn 4
- 4:15 Leopardstown – 4 of the last 5 winners came from stalls 6 or 8 (2 each)

#### **14:17 Ludlow Enya**

*“Well-connected German-bred Enya was in training on the flat but was too immature to run. She has taken well to hurdling though and was 2nd on debut in a Junior Hurdle. Then, post a wind-op she has been placed in a couple of bumpers. Back over hurdles here and with a tongue-tie on, she can take advantage of the overnight favourite’s absence to collect a first win.”* **JAMIE SNOWDEN**
